The FORDTRIGGER tool enables the vehicle to recognize a newly installed sensor and is excellent for drivers who have two sets of tires and wheels for their Ford, Lincoln or Mercury and need to register their TPMS sensors when changing from one package to the other.
Easy-to-use, simply position the one-button triggering tool close to the sensor and against the tire side then press the button. One red LED light illuminates while the tool is transmitting.

I bought a new set of tires & chrome wheels for my 2008 Ford Edge that needed to be 'trained' upon installation and my local STS Tire Center wanted $45.00 for a single training. When I heard the cost, I figured I'd do a little research. I called and spoke to a Tire Rack advisor and he guaranteed this unit would work and he even sent me an email link to the appropriate directions to complete the job. I received the part in quick fashion (as always) and just used it now. The directions were right on the money and it worked perfectly. When I went back into the car to turn the ignition key OFF, the dash Info Center said that the training was successful. I started the car and the little orange icon for the 'tire pressure warning' was out...job completed! The whole process took all of 2-3 minutes and ANYONE who can read can do this. The training unit also came with a piece of Velcro so you can stick it inside your glove box so as to to lose it...good thinking Ford! As for the money spent on the tool, I'll be ahead of the money curve once I put the Winter tires back on this Fall!

Perfect solution - worked flawlessly. No more tire sensor warning message. And the price is right, too.
