Super clean and very low dust compared to stock pads, but the overall bite feels about 10% less than the stock pads, especially when cold. They squeal when the car is backing up which the neighbors probably dont appreciate when leaving for work early in the AM and here is usually one squeak or two from the first stop in the AM.
They are a trade off over the braking performance to get super clean wheels and most daily drivers wont even notice the bite, but will like the clean wheels.

As advertised. Zero noise, little dust, braking on par with OEM . This car is not driven hard. Wear appears to be better than OEM.

The performance is as expected with for a ceramic. Quiet and not much bite. The problem I ran into is the OEM Mini Cooper brake sensor does not fit the pad as the metal in that area is way too thick to accept the slotted OEM sensor. Not a show stopper but now I have a dummy sensor zip tied safely out of the way instead of waiting to light up a dummy light.

I put these pads on an 02 Audi S4 and I am very happy with them. The only problem I ve encountered is that they squeal loudly when I m backing out of my drive-way in the morning, and that does bother me a bit, and they make a little sound even when going forward sometimes also.
They have produced little to no dust on my rims. The rims still get dirty from road grime and I guess a small amount could be due to dust from these, but my rims don t turn black after a few days like with composite pads.
I drive very spirited sometimes and these don t seem to fade nearly as much as the composite pads that were on my car did. The stopping power is overall very good and I am happy with these and my Centric High Carbon disks. The wear rate on the disks seems to be very uniform also and I have not see the ridges that I have seen on just about every car I ve ever owned with composite pads.
I would recommend these and I will probably buy them again when I need new pads but I may look around and see if there are some ceramics that don t squeal in the morning. That seems to be a common problem with cold ceramic pads and going in reverse so I ll probably just end up with these again.
If brake squeal drives you completely crazy, like some people I know, these are not the pads for you. If you re looking for good performance and want to keep you rims cleaner then these will do the job nicely.

Approximately 95000 on front pads and 70000 on rears since replacement, crazy, never expected such mileage. Stopping power seems to be diminishing slightly with accumulated miles. Brake dust negligible, almost non-existent. I drive hard, don t mess around. I have spent 50 years in the auto repair/parts industry and this product has met and exceeded every expectation of mine, I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone concerned with quality at a very competitive price.

I m been very impressed with these brake pads on my car. I drive in Chicago traffic daily so I ve had to use them many times when cabbies cut me off and they ve saved my front end every time. The only issue I have with them is that on a cold morning, the bite takes a little while to build up to full strength. Other than that, they are quiet and have maybe 1% of the dust buildup that the stock brake pads had.

Dust free and quiet pads, but when combined with ATE slotted rotors, not a good match for stopping power or fade resistance. After less than 15k miles they developed a bad vibration due to the pads wearing the rotor face unevenly and the pads chattering on the un-worn lip of the rotor, which meant that the pads and rotors needed to be replaced again well before either reached their wear limits. Very disappointed.

I bought the rotors and pads way before they needed replacement. Just installed them 2 weeks ago. I have purchased several Brembo rotor replacements over the years and they are always better than the "EL CHEAPO" rotors I used to buy locally. The real test will be when I buy a second set of pads and try to get the rotors resurfaced - will they have sufficient thickness at that time or not ? Another question will be "will the rotors warp before the second set of pads are needed? Only time will tell.
The Akebono pads are always decent performers - because all I want in pads are minimal black dust on alloy wheels and stopping power equal to or better than stock. I don t race on a track so fade resistance - EXCELLENT so far - is just measured in a single panic stop - which happens on occasion on normal roads. For the "old" Mercedes in particular, the front pads, OEM style, allowed me to install the brake wear sensors properly.
For family cars, Brembo rotors and Akebono pads are high-quality equal to or better than OEm replacements, local parts stores don t carry them. When I say "family car" that means a vehicle crammed with 5 - 7 people (1000 - 1500 lbs) plus luggage capable of a good panic stop.
