I put these on my wife''s bmw because I was tired of all the dust on thstock brakes & it was due for new pads. Could not be happier ! They felt just like the stock pads & have very little dust on the front.

The combination of the centric rotors and the akebono pads have performed better than expected...I could see the difference in brake dust after 300 miles and really noticed an increased ability in my stopping power.

These pads effectively eliminate brake dust. With the stock pads, I was cleaning the wheels once a week, and there was visible brake dust after one stop from highway speeds. The Akebono pads produce little dust, and the dust that does appear is a light gray color which is almost invisible on the alloy wheels of the car. Great product, and I will be switching to these pads when my other car requires pad replacement.

Good brakes for average around town driving, however I''''m a bit disappointed in them in the sense that there is not much of an initial bite when you press the brake pedal. Very, little dust, which is great, I had to clean my original wheels all the time. I had OEM BMW brake pads, which I believe are organic. Overall the Akebonos are OK, but they could stop a little better

I installed the brake pad/rotor combination of akebono ceramic pads and cryo-stop rotors 400 miles ago, and warped the rotors the first 30 miles !! Since, then I resurfaced the rotors on two different occasions and put other pads on to determine if the rotors were warping from the akebono''''s, but no. Honestly isn''''t there an organization that checks for minimum standards?? THESE ROTORS ARE A WASTE OF MONEY !!! If you don''''t believe me, buy them and find out the hard way.

park my and be prepared to hear the noise. I have never had noiser brakes in my 45 yrs of driving. Car seats over night and you can see the rust on the rotors the next morning. Save your money buy anything else.

I just wanted something similar to the OEM pad performance and price but with way less brake dust. All OEM BMW products seem to blacken the front wheels quite badly after about 100 miles of driving around town (approximately 5 days of commuting for me). Now my front and back wheels never look noticeably different. The front wheels have probably only ever been a tenth as dusty as they were with the OEM pads. I estimate that it would take 1000 miles for the front wheels to look as dark as they used to look with OEM pads after 100 miles.(I wash the car often enough that this has never actually happened.)

These pads simply are not worthy of the praise on this site. They don''t dust much at all, which is good. If that''s your thing, look no further. But the initial bite is non existent. The pads feel numb with little feedback through the pedal. I can name half a dozen performance pads that stop way better then these. I hope they wear out quickly so I can get something better, but given how little dust they make, they''ll probably last 100,000 miles....
