Very satisfied with these brake pads. Great stopping power, no noise and the wheels remain dust free. My installer did have some sort of problem with the left frt pad & sensor installation.

Apparently these pads and the brembo rotors need about 500 miles to get happy with each other. I''ve driven cars with better braking performance but this set up is plenty good enough for my usage.

Trailblazer with 115,000 needed new rotors and pads. Mason (who I had dealt with on my previous purchase of Bilsteins and Eibach lowering kit) understood my next stage of upgrades: new brakes "with no dust, squeal, a responsive feel with an upgraded appearance". Got it all. Brakes are perfect, wish I had switched out way earlier. The Ate rotors appear like an "SS" upgrade. Friends think it looks "factory". Absolutely no problems of fad at high speed. Pads are it, no dust or squeal. For a heavy SUV, it now feels like a nimble sedan!. Tires are Goodyear triple tread directional Forteras. Much better than previous 3 sets of Michelins. I plan to keep the "blazer" for a long time as it''s now been completely upgraded. Amazing what some modifications can do to enhance a factory "American SUV" to feel very competetive to the German SUV''s.

Have 9000 miles on the Akebono Euro Ceramics. Let''s get the one main negative characteristic out of the way. These pads, like ALL low dust pads have reduced initial bite that the dusty OEM BMW pads are so good at. If you want that stop on a dime with feather pressure on the brake feeling, do not use a low dust pad, you will not be happy. The Akebonos stop just fine, but you will need to press harder on the brake pedal for light to medium braking. They have the best initial bite of the all the low dust pads I have tried so far. They are extremely rotor friendly, no lip at all on the edge of the rotor so far, which would have definitely happened with OEM pads by now. They appear as they will likely last much longer (2X?) than the OEM pads. Stops are very smooth and quiet. Braking feel is very liner with pedal pressure. I did not do any bedding when installed, just drove gently for the first 500 miles. I do not track or autocross the car, so cannot comment in those driving conditions. For the street they are just fine, never any issues at all.

Akebono pads reduced dust to practically zero. No noise or squeal in operation. Good response and initial bite in rain. Used with all factory components and very happy. Will buy again and highly recommend the pads!

The main reason I went to these pads was to reduce the amount of visible brake dust on my (new) wheels. For brake dust, these are a huge improvement over the stock pads. There is less brake dust and the color of the dust is a light grey/brown and so the wheels look clean much longer. Regarding stopping power, these pads do not have the initial bite to them that the OEM pads had - so that takes some getting used to. However the braking performance is very good after the initial brake application... No fade and a good linear feel.

Put these on with my Rotora rotors and steel braided brake lines, awesome stopping power, especially when they warm up. Haven''t experienced any brake fade, no noise, and NO brake dust, which is a welcoming change from BWM OEM. Pads aren''t as "sticky" as OEM which i like,

I have found the ATE rotors to be an excellent value, with a superior performance to price ratio. They are much better than stock rotors on my BMW, particularly in regards to resistance to warping, which is a known issue with E34 rotors. I am also happy with the Akebono pads. The rating of 7 on stopping power is because one must apply at least 50% more braking input when the brakes are cold. Once they are warm, the stopping power is a 9 or 10. While this is an acceptable trade-off for me, it might not be for a less experienced driver.

I put Brembo Rotors and Akebono pads on this past summer.

The Brembos have dimples on them to let the DIY mechanic easily observe if the rotors are worn. There are (2) dimples, when one is gone you need to get thinking about replacement. When both are gone, not safe. This should be nice as time goes by.

The Akebono pads stop great and no more dust issues.

I would do both again as the brakes are the most important safety feature on your car and cheap life insurance !

Back when I replaced these rear pads at 50k, I still had a significant amount of OEM brake pad left, but wanted to try these Akebonos. Though I didn''''t notice any driveability changes, they seemed to work fine. However, about 3k ago, I began hearing the brake pad warning chirping. Unfortunately, there has only been 25k of street driving since they were installed originally. I was planning to reorder them. But I think I''''ve talked myself into going back to OEM from Honda.

By the way, I put front Akebonos on and they seem to be working fine.
