I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the BREMBO rotors. My mechanic (whom I trust very much after years of service) said that when he took the rotors out of the box they had score marks and hashing beyond what he had ever seen on "new" rotors. In order to ensure proper break-in of rotors and pads he had to run all 4 rotors on the lathe and machine off the top layers, until they were uniform. I would expect that BREMBO rotors wouldn t have this problem given their reputation. After installation I have been VERY pleased with their performance.

These are my second set of pads and I won''t try anything else. I drive spirited for the most part plus I do trac days, mountain runs and drap race my car. Yes, it''s a Lexus that''s modified though. I chose these pads because I wanted something better than stock, with little fade, and less brake dust that would not eat up my rotors. These fit the bill. I''ve taken the same pads through two track days, and a mountain run and experienced little to no fade and very little dust. Also I experienced NO noise at anytime. Stopping power was good not a huge difference over stock but you definately can tell. I would put these pads on all of my cars. I wish they made them for motorcycles.

Replaced OEM rotors on a whim. Glad I did. over 120000 miles on these rotors and not a single problem. Great increase in braking capability since.

Pads do not grab for immediate stop. OEM pads superior stopping ability.

They appear to be a nice rotor with a two wear dimple indicators. That''s a nice little feature to have, but after about 500 miles or so these rotor leaves a severe rust on the hub. I will most likely not buy another brembo stock replacement rotor because of that, but price is great.

Take it easy at first. After about 2500 miles they were awesome! stopping power was insane. I didn''t notice much break dust either but it''s and old car and I am not that sensitve to it at this point. However, I was complety metal on metal on the pads after 17K. I have never gone through pads that quickly in my entire driving life. I had to run to the honda dealer to get some stock pads in an attempt to save my Brembos! I don''t know if it was the pads or the rotors that caused this. As a test I will stick with the stock pads for now just to see how long they last. I will assume for now that it was the pads and say that I wouldn''t buy them again. The rotors appear to be a fine choice. I will write again if I change my oppinion on any of this.

The ProACT pad are responsive, noise free and way better than the factory pads! The Centric were machined perfectly and provide smooth stopping power.
