I bought these after heard my brakes wore down to 1mm. as we all know infiniti has problems with brakes so turned to aftermarket. the Holman dealership in cherry hill, nj charged me 1000$ to install their product and and wouldn t install mine. also charged me to flush out brake fluid which they say is causing my calipers to cease. i took the car to my trusted mechanic up in NYC and had brakes installed for 200$ and had calipers cleaned. no they are as good as new and better stopping power than the old set. I wouldn t say this combination gives you the best stoping power ( as i test drove the 2011 G37 and that car had serious stopping power) but it should last a lot longer than the nissan parts. I m happy. I ll post another review if there s any problem with the brakes and let you guys know.

I installed the Brembo replacement rotors on the front end about 70k miles ago and have been very pleased with them. For an economical option, these are the way to go. I ve had no problems with warping, and I push my car pretty hard (having taken several performance driving courses). They re nothing fancy in terms of looks, and are only marginally better than the factory rotors. They show a little rust the morning after a heavy rain, but that gets scored off after one or two stops. Mostly I m just amazed at how long they ve lasted. It s been at least 70k miles on them (possibly even longer).

Rotors: Brembo Replacement Rotor

I bought the rotors and pads way before they needed replacement. Just installed them 2 weeks ago. I have purchased several Brembo rotor replacements over the years and they are always better than the "EL CHEAPO" rotors I used to buy locally. The real test will be when I buy a second set of pads and try to get the rotors resurfaced - will they have sufficient thickness at that time or not ? Another question will be "will the rotors warp before the second set of pads are needed? Only time will tell.

The Akebono pads are always decent performers - because all I want in pads are minimal black dust on alloy wheels and stopping power equal to or better than stock. I don t race on a track so fade resistance - EXCELLENT so far - is just measured in a single panic stop - which happens on occasion on normal roads. For the "old" Mercedes in particular, the front pads, OEM style, allowed me to install the brake wear sensors properly.

For family cars, Brembo rotors and Akebono pads are high-quality equal to or better than OEm replacements, local parts stores don t carry them. When I say "family car" that means a vehicle crammed with 5 - 7 people (1000 - 1500 lbs) plus luggage capable of a good panic stop.

I just found out my Rotors are wearing badly on the front. They need to be resurfaced because of burning on them. The pads are good but rotors are bad. Will not use the Brembo Rotors again. Not happy with them. I drive spirted at times but slow down well enough for this not to happen so soon.

Very satisfied with the brake pads. The pads have given significant improvement over stock brake pads. The rotors are okay. They do rust fairly quickly; faster than stock ones. Also the Brembo replacement rotors I got did not have the correct counter bore for the stock screws used for attachment of the rotor. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

Rear Brakes are hard to gauge for responsiveness & stopping power. They wear very well & have minimal brake dust. Very pleased

Finally had to replace 2 rear rotors after 230k miles. I used the factory pads and used Brembo replacement rotors. It does not bite as good as the factory and will probably not use these rotors again. After just a few weeks I can see that the Brembos are rusting pretty bad. I shouldn''t have to paint new rotors. Brake dust is negligible.

Rotors had slight warp at 12,000 and brakes need to be replaced at 14,000. These Brembos may be good for cars or lighter trucks but on my larger Durango they got used up quickly. The performance was great, they just didn''t last anywhere near as long as they should have.
