Hey they work, but they don''t stop as well as the OEM''s.

I guess that''s the trade off for longer wearing and hardly no dusting.

They need heat in them to work well. First use on a cold morning is not really strong.

Hawk HPS street sport brake pads are one of the best brake pads in the market, for almost any application, and brembo rotors are definetly as good as they say they are.

Definitely not a performance pad, but it wasn''t meant to be like that. I like it, to little dust, quiet.

I bought these pads to "upgrade" the stockers and at the same time save some money, at first I thought ohh well it''s going to take time to break em in, but after 1000 miles and my wife complaining that the brakes dont stop as they used to I decided to take it for a spin--boy I was shocked the way these brakes were braking so poorly, i even took up to 90mph and did a vigorous braking to a full stop

Excellent stopping power and feel after they warm-up, which takes about 3 stops. They dust very badly. Wheels turn black after only a couple of days, and the dust is very difficult or impossible to remove. Stopping this heavy SUV is more important to me than the dusting though.

Rotors were quiet and stopped the car well (using OEM Toyota pads) until about the 18,000 mile mark when some slight pulsation/vibration kicked in. At 19,000 miles, Toyota said there wasn''t even enough rotor thickness to re-cut them. Replaced with OEM Toyota rotors that had lasted me 50k originally. Price was very good, but disappointed with the life of the Brembos.

I installed the Akebono Street Performance pads replacing well worn ProACT pads. I noticed a marked improvement compared to what were very good pads that I replaced. The very next day I was nearly involved in a chain reaction crash on I-84 on my way to work. The new brakes as well as the Brigestone G009''''s and AGX struts, all from Tire Rack allowed me to come to a safe controlled stop. The guy behind me ended up passing me on the left shoulder. The cars, two up from of me lost control and tagged the guard rail. These pads are AWESOME.

These Brembo OE replacment rotors in combo with the Hawk HPS pads were the only setup that never warped on my 92 SHO. Nice progessive repsonse and good wear life. Highly recommended.
