The combination of these pads and rotors made a tremendous difference in braking performance. I have had this combination for over 150,000 miles. I have replaced the pads three times and the rotors twice. Stopping distance is a huge improvement over the stock set up. Fade resistance is excellent. In fact fade only became an issue after the brakes on a 8,500 pound boat failed during a quick stop. Brake dust is no more than stock and the slotted rotors are a little noisy when coming to a complete stop. But there is no squealing. Otherwise, this is an excellent combination for this truck.

The brakes are head and shoulders more efficient than stock ones. Slotting rotor definitely helps in rain. Also, the pads served more than stock ones (twice as long, but I drove more highway miles), and rotors will serve even longer. My wife and I are satisfied so much that we installed a similar combo on our second car, and going to replace worn out pads by the same make/model. My family hear strong high pitch noise when braking, but I am probably too old to hear it. We do not care about dust (there is a lot of it) or aesthetic (but the brakes are nice, though). Notice: our front rotors are one inch bigger than stock, with Chevy Impala braces.

I do a lot of highway street driving, but on the weekends I will go do auto cross or drifting. These hawk street pads with brembo slotted rotors are amazing. It doubled the stopping power from the stock brakes. If you don t want to go 5 lug swap big brake kit for your 240sx I suggest these pads with upgraded rotors.

Installed these pads with Brembo s sport/slotted rotors (only because the rotors were on clearance). After a horrible sounding and tumultuous break-in period, the combination quieted down and really started to bite in. They are on a 98 Honda Odyssey and have almost completely eliminated front end dive under all but aggressive breaking conditions. It will be hard going back to OEM level brake components. . .

Wow, what a difference between the junk OEM GM rotors and pads. Like night and day, stops smoothly, no noticeable fade, quiet, dust level good. Great product & will install on my wife s 03 Impala when due for brakes.

This combo seemed to be most popular with TireRack buyers so I went with them too. They are fantastic! The only thing I have noticed so far is a little noise under hard braking. I think though, with wear, this will diminish. The pedal feel is nice and linear and much more responsive than the stock ceramic setup. Time will tell all, but I think the results will be great.

If you are looking to upgrade just one part of the brake system on your daily driver, the Goodridge G-Stop Brakeline Kit is definitely the first thing to purchase. It is the easiest way to get a better pedal feel and peace of mind over stock rubber lines. They may not be as visible as other components you can add to your vehicle, but make a lasting impression. I combined the Goodridge G-Stop Brakeline kit with Brembo Sport.EVO 500++ Brake Fluid, Brembo GT 328mm Big Brake Kit (favoring slotted over the drilled for heavy or track use) and matching Brembo Sport Rotors/Pads for the rear wheels and now stop with complete confidence. Absolutely no fade is felt, the distance needed to stop feels quicker and virtually no noise is made except sometimes at walking speeds for a millisecond, even in the rain. This may be just because everything is still new or because of the pad material. When stopping from normal or highway speed there is no noise. Brake dust seems somewhat greater verus the stock setup, but if you are willing to upgrade your brakes, regular maintenance with a good wheel cleaner should already be part of your routine and not an issue. Wheel spacers, which Brembo says may be required with the GT Big Brake Kit due to caliper clearance, were needed to make everything complete. The best news is everything was an easy bolt-on.
