A Sienna van is no race car for sure but I always dreaded driving "the van" from the day we got it. The wive loves it so it stays. The killer combination that seems to solve many of it past ills is the Akebono ProAct ceramic pads, the Centric high carbon rotors and the Goodyear Assurance Comfortrend tires. WOW! It drives better than it did when it was new! I don t even mind driving the van now. Crazy. Don t tell anyone.

Centric High Carbon 125 series rotor replaced the OEM part without any issues. It seems to perform as the OEM part did. There is no noise, and the finish has stayed pretty much intact despite a winter of New England driving.

stoptech brake rotors suck! StopTech / centric does not stand behind their products at all. We re talking brakes people! I thought I had a pad material transfer problem that would go away, it did not. It s a rotor run out problem, they tell me to apply a temporary fix by having them cut or to replace them. These are high end rotors (expensive), I really did not expect .6mm run out. Total garbage! They will not replace them!

The brakes are smooth and strong. I have not experienced any fade.

I put these pads on an 02 Audi S4 and I am very happy with them. The only problem I ve encountered is that they squeal loudly when I m backing out of my drive-way in the morning, and that does bother me a bit, and they make a little sound even when going forward sometimes also.

They have produced little to no dust on my rims. The rims still get dirty from road grime and I guess a small amount could be due to dust from these, but my rims don t turn black after a few days like with composite pads.

I drive very spirited sometimes and these don t seem to fade nearly as much as the composite pads that were on my car did. The stopping power is overall very good and I am happy with these and my Centric High Carbon disks. The wear rate on the disks seems to be very uniform also and I have not see the ridges that I have seen on just about every car I ve ever owned with composite pads.

I would recommend these and I will probably buy them again when I need new pads but I may look around and see if there are some ceramics that don t squeal in the morning. That seems to be a common problem with cold ceramic pads and going in reverse so I ll probably just end up with these again.

If brake squeal drives you completely crazy, like some people I know, these are not the pads for you. If you re looking for good performance and want to keep you rims cleaner then these will do the job nicely.
