Pads and rotors look good. I painted the calipers at the same time so they look good and work well.

I bought these Centric Plain 120 rotors to replace Brembo blanks that had about 148,000 miles on them and started a little steering wheel shake. So far I am very happy with them. They ve worked great right our of the box with Hawk HPS pads. No smells or burning off corrosion coatings and no squealing or squeaking. The cross hashing does make a slight low grown, but to me it is a more confidence building sound that the brakes are really biting in than an annoyance. This rotor and pad set-up brakes smooth, strong and quiet. With so many miles on this car, I didn t want to spend too much, so I didn t go with the cryo treated, but since I drive about 42,000 miles a year, I wanted rotors that were good and well-made enough that I don t have to replace them soon. I will probably try the cryo-treated on my Odyssey minivan when I replace them in the next year or so.

Switched from Brembo blank rotors and Pagid blue pads, and didn t have the cash at the time to buy a better combination.
Pros: Cost is reasonable. Very little dust. No noise except during first use after a rainstorm. But once the pads scrub the rotors, the noise is eliminated. Also, they were truly an OEM fit. No problems with installation.
Cons: Braking seems weak. It s adequate for daily driving, but clearly diminished from my previous setup. Where the old combination would lock up my tires at will, the new system will not at any speed above 20mph. For this reason, I ll be replacing the pads soon. I like a very grippy pad and these do not inspire confidence to stop now .

Note that these are marketed as "Premium" rotors. Not so.
I purchased these rotors before a friend warned me his warped within a few weeks. Nevertheless, I put mine on with a similar experience. I don t drive hard, I have an easy, 45MPH drive to and from work, with a couple stops in my neighborhood - and that s about it. There were no hard stops, proper break in per TireRack technical documents on the website. Just driving to/from work on some back, straight roads. After a few weeks, I developed a Steering Wheel vibration during stopping. I left it, because it s pretty small when stopping from 35MPH or so, but a few recent trips on the highway made it unbearable not to fix. So I replaced after 5-6 months of use and about 4000 miles.
On the good side, the rotors LOOK to be much better quality than what I typically find at the local auto parts store. The paint on non machined surfaces held up for 6 months very nicely, and when taking them off to throw away, they looked very good, almost like new. I chucked them up in a lathe and measured the axial runout near the outer edge - the first one was around .001"-.002" (GOOD) and the second was .010"-.012" (BAD).
The way I see this purchase - these rotors are no better (if not worse) than the junk I would buy at the local auto parts chain store. But if those warp - they have a lifetime warranty and they will replace them, plus the pads (if purchased there). Not so here. 30 Day "Customer Satisfaction Warranty". My fault for not getting them on the first week I had them and finding out in time.
If you are looking for an everyday cheap rotor - go local. If you want premium, the Brembo Plain rotors I had on before these were great! Worth the extra money if that s what you want.
I chose not to rate Responsiveness, Stopping Power, Fade Resistance and Dust because I frankly didn t use them enough nor pay enough attention. This isn t for the track...just commuting!
Centric is 0 for 2 in my experience.

Stoptech performance street pads - great bite, noticeable difference in braking power even with them being on the rears.
Centric plain 120 series rotor - great rotors, have bought many sets of these for all my vehicles. The black rotor hat eliminates nasty rusty look. Cosmetically they are great and performance they are great.

A great street pad for a daily driver, Minimal wear after 10k miles. Works well cold. Excellent feel, response, and easy to modulate without anti-lock brake system. Much better than stock or Advance Silverline used in the past. Wear rate excellent for normal use.

I understood that these were NOT "performance brake pads" when I purchased them and I have not been disappointed. Compared to the performance of OE brake pads(made by Ferodo) these don t even come close. Initial bite is adequate, but the excess fade is very noticeable. On a good note, they don t generate nearly the amount of brake dust as OE and they are whisper quiet. The Centric brake rotors are terrific in every way. My Audi wears them on all 4 corners.

I was really concerned about brake noise and this set up is very quiet. The Centric rotors are impressive to look at and appear to be a high quality part. Everything fit perfectly. Brake dust seems to be less than OEM. Stopping power is as good or better then stock.

The HPS pads are every bit as solid as the StopTech s these replaced, but MUCH less dust. Break in procedure was followed. Quiet and smooth pedal feel.

I replaced my stock rotors and OEM pads with the Hawk HPS pads and Centric vented blanks in preparation for driving the Dragon this October. I couldn t be happier. Dust is nearly nonexistent, and while the pads do groan a bit, it s just when easing forward, and not nearly as bad as the OEM squeal. I drove the Dragon four times on this setup, and didn t feel them fade once - they actually got better as they heated up a bit.
When cold, the pads don t have the initial bite of the OEM ones, but this actually is better for a daily driver, as it makes the braking curve smoother and more communicative. In other words, they re not going to throw you through the windshield until you heat them up, and that s when you need better braking anyway. The Centric blanks are smooth and seem quite reliable. They will rust like every other blank, though, so don t expect otherwise.
