My wife drives this vehicle daily in mostly stop and go traffic and her first comment was that the brakes responded so well, she had to get used to the braking power. Sticking with the OEM pads turned out to be a great choice as the brakes are quite and very progressive. I was concerned about the rotor grooving causing pulsations in the pedal, however this only happens during very hard braking and is virtually undetectable in normal driving. Over all the combination of the Goodridge brakeline and ATE rotors has been fantastic and I will replace the rear rotors with ATE rotors once they wear out.

Ran HP+ pads, Cryo PowerSlot rotors, Castrol SRF fluid with Goodridge lines and Quantuum cooling ducts. BF Goodrich KDW2 tires. Stock calipers. Street, track (intermediate level) and autocross. Phenomenal set up for all around use. On the track they were not unpredictable but did get increased stopping power throughout the day. This made it a little tough to judge braking points but in the right direction at least. Since they were used on the street it was hard to keep them properly bedded. When bedded they sound awesome - like grinding cement - louder on video than my engine. On the street as bedding fades they did squeak but are worth it. Produced tons of dust but my car is a driver so I don t care that much. Pads lasted a season - tossed them. Front rotors had micro cracks on the surface but no through-and-through cracks - good material left but I had to toss. Rear rotors are fine and going back on the car after the winter. I will run the exact same setup this year.

The brake lines are a good product, a bit pricey. But, in all I guess you get what you pay for. I choose Raybestos pads from another supplier based upon information that I had recieved from another racer. The other supplier does nothing but supply pads, rotors, and calipers. We do endurance type racing and the pads have 1200 racing miles and without any problems.

It doesn''t bite in as much as I expected on initial stopping, but when applied more force into the break pedal it would stop very fast. I did several runs testing the break for fading and I was surprised with its ability to stop after braking more than 10 times without allowing it to cool down at all. This system is a lot better than my old stock brakes.

I chose this brembo pads mainly for better stopping on track days. I had just a regular aftermarket pads before and moving to brembo pads seemed to be a good choice. I use slotted/ dimpled EBC rotors, ATE superblue fluid and goodridge stainless lines on both different brand of pads, the brembo one works better. It grabs better and more evenly from starting speed to the last moment the brakes applied. I think brembo stock replacement pads is good enough for track driving on street cars.

I tow a 16 Car trailer or 14 Enclosed Landscaping trailer almost every Day.
Installed the Goodridge lines to replace the OEM brake lines, Outstanding Pedal Feel much more solid than stock hoses, No fade rotor warping or Any adverse problems.
I plan to install them on My wifes Pontiac Grand Prix.
Always Great service from Tire Rack!

After reading the positive comments on the Hawk Lts pad, I was eager to install them. Of course I had the rotors trimmed which were in perfect condition, and of course I did the exact break in procedure and I have actually LOST stopping power with these brake pads over stock. What a shame, all the hype and expense and not even better than stock. Too many people that write a review are not objective about their results and just want to prove that their choice was the right one. PS I have also returned my General grabber tires for of course Michelins what else and fuel economy and performance are back not to mention wear.

Got shimmey on the steering wheel when braking at around 70,000 miles which is the same mileage that it happened with the stock pads and rotors. Braking feel was equivalent to stock and now not convinced that the cryo treatment will prevent warping. To be fair some of my research suggests that its not warping but brake material deposits on the rotor that cause the shimmey. In that case, the pads are to blame. Maybe next time I will try high quality aftermarket pads.

After a lot of fast driving including a couple track days, I have gone through two sets of front pads and one set of rear. The rotors are still going strong, though I may replace the front rotors soon because the slots are almost worn smooth. But there is still no vibration or warping. It''s amazing they can take the abuse and stay true.

Buy the Goodridge G-stop brake lines with caution. My Honda brake lines were 18 years old, and I thought I should replace them. The Goodridge G-stop brake lines were about the same price as the Honda Civic lines, so I thought I would upgrade them with the G-stop. Bad idea. There were many problems with the components. This one is important, when I torqued the new G-stop banjor bolt into the caliber, the bolt head snapped off. I used 24 ft-lb because it was the maximum rating on the package. Honda specifies 25 ft-lb. Tire Rack''s Penny was very helpful in getting me new parts, but Goodridge via e-mail dropped their torque specification to 12 min and 18 ft-lb max. I think they are not using the highest grade bolt material. They also used plastic brackets instead of the metal ones Honda used. Worst, they did not supply the third bracket. I had to open up the old one, remove it from the old line, and put it on the new line. I had to bend the bracket open, and while it s weaker now, it probably will work. I hope. The G-stop lines feel a little more solid, less spongy. But I have little confidence in the design and quality of the G-stop components, and I wished I had not purchased them. May your order be better.
