While advertised as track pads, for the Corvette they were no better than stock ceramic. My son and I (both instructors) shared the car for a weekend at CMP, and by the end of the weekend (~10 25-minute sessions) we had experienced fade, lengthening stopping distances and when I removed the pads for inspection they were badly heat-checked. We followed the bedding-in procedure and our driving styles are not typically "hard" on brakes. These pads may be adequate on a lighter car, but are not recommended for larger or faster cars. I later went to Hawk DTC 70 s and it was like night and day - they are vastly superior and hold up well.

Used these HP+ pads along with new sp performance rotors, steel braided lines and super blue fluid at a track day at pocono speedway. I was very impressed how well they worked with little fade. On 25min sessions pads did experience some minor fade at the 20min mark or so, just required more pedal effort. Track did have 2 straight aways near 100mph. overall I was impressed with the pad. I use these pads for autox and street duty as well with good results. With brakeducts I would expect these pads to work a little better on a track. After agressive street duty, one autox, and one track day pad still has aproxx 75% pad left after 3000 miles.

I always figured the stock brakes on my Z were OK performance wize until I got the Brembo Big brake kit. At low speeds on dry, amazing. On wet, the ABS takes over as it should. Higher speeds is where they really shine, bringing the car to a quick, smooth, and controllable stop...And I''m just now braking them in (pun intended).

Goodridge SS lines were poorly constructed and did not seal properly with OEM hardline on my 2008 C6 Coupe. Replaced with Stoptech SS lines. Further research on other Corvette forums showed that this is not unusual with Goodridge SS brake lines.

These pads have been great for the car. The car doubles as my daily driver and track car when I have the time. They are quiet and low on brake dust. I have had to use them harshly a few times and every time there was no fade and they helped the car stop very quickly. If you teamed these up with new SS brake lines and some slotted rotors they would be a very good pad all around. I would defintly purchase them again.

Put Cryo-Stop rotors on my WRX due to the normal warping issues with OEM rotors. Still absolutly smooth after 1000+ miles of fairly agressive usage. Hawk HPS pads work great and the stainless lines add a very tight response to the brakes. Only complaint I have is the black paint doesn t cover 100% of the non-wear surface and there is a 1/8" band of rust on the inner and outer edges. I also used the super blue fluid with the swap and now stopping is night and day different than the stock setup with still stock calipers and sizes.

purchased stainless G stop brake lines for 05 Mustang. Installition was easy and straight forward. No problems encountered took about 45 mins total (vehicle on rack). Immediately felt difference in stopping. Vehicle has DBA drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk HPS Pads and stock calipers. Stopping is awesome ten fold better than factory.

I installed the Hawk HP+ pads for a track day at Gingerman raceway. On the street these pads are perfectly acceptable from a safety perspective, however they do dust considerably (washes off easily) in a very short time and are very noisy under light braking pressures. Having said that, they performed flawlessly at Gingerman. We ran 20min sessions with speed exceeding 100mph with hard braking down to 30-40mph and these pads never showed any sign of fading. Our last session was a full 40min and they never gave up. Once on the track, they got very hot smelling and a little more pedal effort was required (more likely due to the elevated speeds), but once the adjustment was made the pads gave easily modulated fade-free stops time after time.

These pads are probably overkill for autocross and the street, but are perfect for real tracks. For Autocross/street I would highly recommend the Hawk HPS pads, which I run on an every-day basis and are completely silent with great cold bite and very low dusting. Either set of pads (HP+ or HPS) are far better for braking than most stock pads and do not leave pad deposits on the rotors which will lead to vibration (commonly called warpage, though it isn t).
