I have these HP Plus pads on an Integra Type R brake setup on my 2200lb Civic hatchback. Car has 200HP. At the track I experienced zero fade and reliable stops from 95-30mph repeatedly, without letting the brakes rest. These pads are great for any light car with a decent brake setup. I imagine if you have a heavier car these will burn up quickly on the track.
On the street, they are noisy and produce a ton of brake dust. That is not an exageration. They are squeaky and produce a ton of brakedust!!
Great track pads for any sub-2300lb car!

I give it all 10 on all things but noise. These brake pads are ridiculously loud, I don t think I ve ever heard anything as loud. Good to use on the race track but no way in the street unless you want everyone to be looking at you with that "what the hell??" look. Less than 2 months after installation I m ordering the street brakes, these are going back on the shelf, can t handle this noise.

Good brake pads for track days. Brake pads are noticeably more responsive than stock pads with less pedal effort. Stopping power is excellent for both street and driving on the racetrack (not racing). Pads can be faded, but only with repeated very hard stops on the track. The downsides are they generate a lot of dust and are noisy.

These pads are simply too loud to be used for anything other than track driving only. I changed the pads myself and am simply blown away by the sound. I installed the pads on well-worn rotors and thought that was the cause of the excessive sound, but I swapped in new OEM rotors and the sound is still there in all its ear-piercing glory. And I am a stickler about making sure the shims are greased correctly to reduce noise. Yes, the pads stop the car well, but I can t keep them on the car being a daily driver. I will either shoot myself from the sound, or be shot by someone else for noise pollution. Back to the more expensive Porterfields. I may take a step down in stopping ability, but my sanity will be kept intact.

The Hawk HP+ and Racing Brake combo are on the front of the S2000 only, rears are original factory equipment. The HP+ are an amazing brake pad for not being track only, but as others have said, they are annoyingly loud after a while if you don t have them up to temperature. The dust makes an absolute mess of your rims and have even managed to fill the slots/holes on the rotors.
The stopping power between the 2 will actually set off the ABS on the car (Z1 Star Spec tires). They do appear to be wearing the rotors a bit. I would definitely buy the replacement rings to the 2-piece rotors, I am not sure I would buy the pads again. They are good, but so loud they get the attention of police as you brake at a stop signs (true story, I wasn't even driving like an idiot).

These pads are incredible. They completely fix the spongy brake pedal that Subarus are infamous for. This is in comparison to the HPS street pad. I left the HP+ pads on after my last track day and have been using them for the street ever since. If you want to stop on a dime, these are the pads for you. The amount of dust these pads produce is insane. The sound is even worse unless you apply brake quiet every once in a while. These are the only two downsides, which are insignificant because I love these pads.

The brake pads are extremely loud, but they grip very well. I have to be careful because the car can lock the brakes up at 100+ mph with ease. They slow my 400 WHP monster so fast that it feels like your head is going to fly off.

Bought purely for track days. Pushed them heavily and hell I was stopping on a dime, so much so I actually felt sick from the force. They are dusty however, and when cold (normal day to day driving, are irritatingly noisy. If you want very high stopping power and resistance to fade, get these!

Great upgrade over stock, If your looking for a good pad and dont mind alot of dust when your really working the brakes, and noise when your not these are the pads. I dont have the greatest rotors intresting to see if they will hold up to these pads.

Theses things are noisy. They are dusty... but they will stop on a nickle and make change.
Super impressed. My 92 Corvette has the 1996 Grand Sport caliper and 13" rotor with SS lines. It s about as far as you can go without going aftermarket. I can t wait to track the car with these brakes. I just breathe on the pedal a little bit and my lower back starts to pull away from the seat. INCREDIBLE stopping power.
If you are self conscious about noise, or a an OCD detailer type, stay well clear of these pads. But if you want to STOP... and I mean STOP... get them. You will stop. Like you have never stopped before.
