I'm an ASE certified mechanic and I have to say these pads are the noisiest pads I've ever heard. I tried shims, brake spray, lubing with brake grease and nothing worked. Not worth the performance cause the noise is soooooo bad.

Big step up over stock pads for light track use/ HPDE. Proper bed in will help reduce noise a little but they are deafening in street use when cold. Previous posts about cement mixer sounds are 100% correct. I took mine off two weeks after the track event but loved the stopping power, even when ice cold. They faded heavily during one run early at the track due to incomplete bedding in. Once past this they were phenomenal. My longest track session was 50 minutes and I had no problems in a heavy car on a track that is only modestly tough on brakes. The dust was not too bad and came off with a routine wash and no significant elbow grease. If you care about noise don t get track pads, these included.

Had Centric Cryo Rotors installed. Seated pads per manufacturers instructions.Logged about 400 miles before using rotors for two track days. Car developed front end shudder on severed braking from high speeds. Front end suspension components all sound. Think that one of the cryo rotors developed some warpping. Need to check out further as problem doens''t exist at normal braking speeds. Purchased cryo rotors to avoid this problem. Not very pleased with performance currently.

2004 Corvette with Bridgestone RE11''s. I did 1 HPDE at Road America last fall. Cold wet day. Impressed with tires and brakes. Huge difference over the HPS. Dust and noise is up, but preformance is worth it. I change back to the HPS/rotors for the street. My choice not to buy again is based on track only use not the pads. I''ll go to DTC 60&70s.

Only one track day so far with some basic road miles and the braking performance is good. No fade detected during the one track day. Good initial bite and brake "feel" is very nice. A definite improvement over the EBC Greenstuff pads on stock Brembo rotors I had before. Of course the brake dust is prodigious, but that''s expected. Noise is not bad. I get the occasional squeal at the end of a stop but better than the EBC pads.

These are not an all-out track pad. They are still another pad that tries to do both - street and track days. If your car is light, say under 3000lbs, these pads will probably do you well. A strange experience I have had: the first day I put these pads on, they were FANTASTIC. High, firm pedal, and retina-detaching stopping power. The next track day, everything on the car was the same, but I had a VERY low, soft pedal. So low it takes at least 2-3 full inches of pedal travel to finally get any brake action. This has happened every time I put my track rotors and these pads on. Yet my street rotors and pads give a high, firm pedal. My lines and fluid is all fine. The only variables are the pads. While the sheer braking power is still roughly the same as day one, the pedal travel and feel has greatly degraded. There is a total of about 7 track days on these pads. The track in question is a fairly tight, slow one.
My next track pad will either be one of the hawk colored series, or another brand altogether.

I purchased these pads out of recommendation from a friend. The primary use of my vehicle is daily driving with autocross and mountain driving on the weekends. I''m using a R33 Skyline brake setup with the Hawk HP Plus pads. I could not be happier! I did not know my brakes could perform this well. Straight out of the box these pads far outperformed my old pads(GREX). The stopping power of these pads is unbelievable. I''m running Dunlop Direzza Z1 star specs(amazing tires) and after installing these pads I need to upgrade to a bigger size to keep them from locking up on the front. These pads do dust alot but I have seen worse so I rated them a 5. I also deducted a couple points for noise because they squeal a little bit when completely cold(they stop after a block or two). As far as bite, these pads bite hard from cold and do not fade, ever. I highly recommend these pads if you''re in need of an upgrade.

Man, these pads are loud when coming to a stop! Had them for about a month and they are just as loud. I am reluctant to drive my car on the streets now. I use them for street and track. Happy with the performance but will not buy them again.

My Bullitt is used primarily for Autocross and track days. I would purchase the HP+ pads, but not the Power Slot rotors again.I installed them at the start of the summer and bedded them in according to the manufacturer instructions. They seemed to work fine over the stock rotors, but I could tell when examining them after events that they would not last. I participated in 3 autocrosses and one track day with no problem. On my second track day, one of the front rotors cracked. I do not drive an excessive number of hot laps before cooling the car down. I purchased these based on recommendations from other Bullitt owners that used them, specifically staying away from cross-drilled due to cracking problems, and did not expect a failure so soon.

Much improved over OE. I''m concerned about some fade experienced during the bedding-in procedure. Could have been related to excessive heat in the stock rubber lines....but overall very pleased with the HP+ pads and Ate rotors (slotted).
