I installed these pads and rotors on my wife''s car in June of 2006 at 37500 miles. Last week it was neccesary to install new pads on the front and replace the rear pads and rotors for the second time due to rust. Being on a budget and considering the mileage of vehicle, I opted to to just clean front rotors and reinstall. Power Slot rotors were well within specs and have no issue with warpage! I do torque wheel fasteners to specs. as well as cleaning, detailing and painting calipers and carriers to prevent rust and corrosion. I am also a firm believer in using quality synthetic grease for the sliding pins and contact points and changed brake fluid with Valvoline synthetic DOT 4 fluid.

I have been in the industry for over 25 years and have NEVER seen a set of pads & rotors last as long as these! I would highly reccommend them for durability as long as you don''t mind the sound they make due to the slots and dust concerns were no worse than any other pad I''ve used.

Made a world of difference of stock braking components, no more warping, far less

dust and provide quiet smooth powerful braking performance. Improved my confidence

level greatly when hauling load and or trailer.

The Hawk pads that I have bought make noise on and off and they dust more than they should. I bought another set for a ford escape and they dust extremly bad and make noise most often.

Stopping power was really good best pads for that. After 10,000 miles the pads started to squeal and I had enough of that so I changed them out with ceramic pads

I installed a set of SuperDuty pads on the front of my new to me RV. I had driven the orginal Ford pads for 1000 miles before installing the Hawk. I replaced the still good Ford pads becasue of the great results that I have had in the past with Hawk HP+ and LTS pads. Once the new pads were installed I wasn''t overly impressed with the performance of them. They were almost identical to the Ford pads. Still good performance, I can''t complain about that, but not really any improvement. I was expecting some more from the premium pad.

The vehicle is a 27 Class C RV with a normal operating weight of 11,000 pounds. The rear brakes are good and properly adjusted. Overall the Hawk pads are a good pad without much fade in the mountains, however the inital bite of the pad is average. I have driven alot of ambulances in the size and weight range and the OEM pads work as well as the Hawks.

I would use these pads again, however I wouldn''t us them as an upgrade again, just a replacement. And I''ll go drive my autocross Chevelle with the HP+ on all four corners to remember what serious stopping power is!

Outstanding Pads.....I got the excellent stopping power I was after....much better that stock components. You do get some dust but it is worth it for the increased power.
