Hawk HPS work reliably well for everyday street driving. Quiet- even with Porsche Boxster calipers (Brembo) without shims- reasonable cold bite, low dust, good wear. I ve used Hawk HPS several times on different cars and they ve proven to be a decent street pad. For track days I swap out the HPS for Endless MX72 pads which withstand higher heat and have more bite.

Costs significantly less than OEM part, provides excellent stopping power, significantly less dust than the OEM pads and I am not hearing any noise! I changed the pads, rotors and tires on all 4 wheels. The rear brake pads did not have the whole for the rear wheel sensor attachment so I am going to monitor the wear when switching between summer and winter tires. You can buy them with confidence!

These are fantastic pair of pads that exceeded my expectations. I recently had to make an emergency stop on the highway at 50 mph speed. To my surprise, the vehicle stopped in a very short distance and I was able to avoid a collision. I would buy these pads with confidence.

Bought and installed these about 1000 miles ago and overall I m satisfied. They re responsive and provide a good brake feel but not much better than any other pad I ve used. The HPS don t really stand out from past pads I ve used, they just do their job in an average way. They re not really worth the price premium and if I had to do it over, I would have gotten a less expensive brand.

One more thing: these things squeal like nails on a chalkboard. I followed Hawk s bed-in procedures to the letter yet 1000 miles later, they sound like they re worn to the nub and need replacement (even though I checked and they don t). Granted, I m still on the stock rotors with Brembo calipers and while Brembos are known to be loud, the amount of noise and squealing is borderline unacceptable. The stock pads weren t this noisy until they needed replacement and the Hawks are noisy from the start.

TERRIBLE. My stock pads and rotors were better than these at 49,999 miles when my brake pad light was on. These have 0 bite to them and I would be afraid if I needed to actually stop on a dime to avoid hitting someone I would not be able to. I ve tracked and auto crossed my car and my stock set up didn t fade as much as these do on the street. I want my money back!!!!

I own a well taken care of 2002 Honda CR-V that will soon be a safe chamber of transport for my future son. I daily drive an 07 TL Type-s which itself has killer brakes in factory form (Brembos). So, based on that. I ordered the Brembo O.E. style replacement rotors plus Hawk HPS street pads all the way around for the CRV and am blown away by the creaminess of this combo every time I drive it, like the other reviewer said about that clamping sound on rotor. I fully agree. this combo provides a Fat pedal pressure and conveys tons of feel all the way till full BITE. The driving experience I ve experienced in both these products will definitely influence my brake choice on my TL-S when the time comes (I won t be using OEM ACURA). Excellent customer service, fast shipping, and great prices! Thank you TIRERACK.COM!!!!!!!!!

I bought these pads and rotors because I was not happy with the stopping power of the stock brakes especially in the rain. The very 1st night I put them on we got the aftermath of rain from the tornado in OK. The rain from the tornado came to Nashville, TN and there was 3 inches of water on the expressway in no time flat. These breaks performed as if it wasn t even raining let alone was driving in 3 inches of water. During normal braking they seem like any other brakes but put some pressure on them and hang on to your hat ! If your not wearing your seat belt your going to mess up your dash with the grease from your face. They are quite and smooth. I left the stock rotors on the rear and used the Hawk pads all around. The Cryo-stop rotors and Hawks pads are a great stopping combo. I highly recommend them to anyone. Next TIRES !!

The OE pads were only replaced twice in 40k miles and the rotors not even once. The pads were terrible, but the rotors were alright, would have liked them to last longer. The new HPS pads have exceeded my expectations for daily driving. They can slowly and gently bring the car down from 60mph and make it feel like you slowed down from 25mph. They are so gentle, and quiet. I can count on them for daily driving, and when I hammer them really hard, they are amazing. They get better and better the more you beat them up, I love it. When the car comes to a full stop, you hear a noise that suggests the wheels have stopped spinning and the pads have completely gripped and stopped the rotors. This sound, while it may sound stupid, is very reassuring. My brakes give me confidence. My only one complaint though is that the first time I brake hard after the car has been sitting a little bit, when the pads are cold and discs wet with rainwater, is that they have a difficult time gripping the rotor. These are best when they re heated up. I m not blaming the pads, but it s more the rotor, because they re just blanks. If I got some drilled rotors to evacuate the water better, I m confident these would stop without any issues. I highly recommend these. It s true what others say about the initial bite lacking, but thats what contributes to their gentleness, you just need to put your foot into it the slightest bit more and they will STOP. I ve got new Toyo Proxes R1Rs on my car, and these pads are enough to overwhelm those tires and lock up the brakes, which causes ABS to kick in. If you know the Proxes R1R, you ll know that s quite a feat.

Very dangerous brakes, as they need ample time to "warm up" to be really effective.
I do not recommend these brakes for the average driver. Worst braking is when freeway driving and then suddenly having to apply when rotors/pads are cold. Those split seconds of limited friction can kill you; as it did almost me. Called the Hawk folks and after a long time they finally responded to my concerns. No satisfactory answer given. Next order will still be from Tire Rack (these folks are great), but I think I ll go back to the Akebono s which, in comparison to the Hawk s, worked out a lot better for me.

These pads are a big improvement over stock, but they are not without their faults. In temperatures over 40 degrees Fahrenheit, these pads are very good. Some very slight scraping noise can be heard upon the first brake application, if the car has been sitting for a while. This quickly subsides and isn t a nuisance at all. They have a strong, but not overpowering initial bite. Pedal feel is slightly better (harder) than stock. The pads are a bit less progressive than stock, but overall power is fantastic. They resist fade quite well.

The only true issue I have with these brakes are when they are cold. When it is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and the brakes haven t had time to warm up, there is very little braking force. You really have to stomp on these brakes to get any real stopping power. After the first one or two brake applications, the pads are fine though.

Overall I would definitely recommend these pads. Their fairly poor initial bite when cold is far outweighed by their tremendous power when they come up to temperature. Just remember to test their power when heading out for the first time on a cold day.

I bought these Centric Plain 120 rotors to replace Brembo blanks that had about 148,000 miles on them and started a little steering wheel shake. So far I am very happy with them. They ve worked great right our of the box with Hawk HPS pads. No smells or burning off corrosion coatings and no squealing or squeaking. The cross hashing does make a slight low grown, but to me it is a more confidence building sound that the brakes are really biting in than an annoyance. This rotor and pad set-up brakes smooth, strong and quiet. With so many miles on this car, I didn t want to spend too much, so I didn t go with the cryo treated, but since I drive about 42,000 miles a year, I wanted rotors that were good and well-made enough that I don t have to replace them soon. I will probably try the cryo-treated on my Odyssey minivan when I replace them in the next year or so.

My 1999 Ford Taurus SHO definitely had some stopping power issues from day 1 when purchased it in 2000. The brakes felt undersized for this heavy V8 car. Upgrading with Hawk pads and Ate rotors produced a dramatic improvement in braking power. Although the hawk pad were rated high for brake dust and noise, I had no issues with this.

December 29, 2011

We drive our 2002 Tahoe in the Ozark Mountains on a daily basis. We live at nearly 2,500 feet of elevation, and within the first mile of our drive, we have to traverse more than 500-feet down to the "main road." From there, things get worse - winding switchbacks, stop-and-go driving, hilly terrain - you name it, and we deal with it.

So imagine my surprise (and pure pleasure) when I managed to get more than 95,000 miles of life from my Hawk HPS pads and Frozen Rotors. Truth be told, the front rotors showed less than 35% wear, and the front pads showed less than 25% wear. The rear rotors showed less than 35% wear, but the rear pads were nearing the end of their service life. But that s after 95,000 hard miles!! I dare you to find another brake set-up that could last 95,000 miles under these conditions: 4,800-lb vehicle, mountainous terrain, stop-and-go-driving...

I replaced the stock pads, rotors, and fluid at 25,000 miles in November of 2003. Around Thanksgiving of 2011, the rear brakes started squeaking it bit while stopping, so we promptly placed an order for Centric Cryogenically-treated rotors and another set of Hawk HPS pads. When I replaced the old Frozen Rotors (cryo-treated) and Hawk HPS pads, I was literally FLOORED by how fantastic they looked after 95,000 miles...

Do yourself a favor - invest in the Hawk HPS pads and some cryogenically-treated rotors. I guarantee you ll never have to worry about your brakes ever again. I d also recommend a brake fluid flush just to keep things fresh. We used Wilwood DOT4 fluid both times and have never had any complaints.

Brake dust was minimal, noise was non-existent, performance was stellar, and life was unreal. A total WIN. Thanks, TireRack!

I had the HPS installed when the car was new in 2004 and the reason I did it was I learned from g35driver forum that quite a few people were having brake problem. Later in 2005 Infiniti provided 3-year, 36K warranty on the brakes due many problems. As for the Hawk HPS, they are the best brake pads I ever had. I have 96K miles now and need to replace the front pad!!! And the amazing part is that I still have the stock rotors!!! So the pads are really gentle on the rotors to say the least. The car for some reason already chewed up two sets of rear pads in 96K miles. I will be installing new front rotors and HPS pads in a few days. Great, great pads.

The brakes were good until the very end. Stopping power is great, they do dust a lot depending on how your hard foot is on the pedal, initial bed in is straight and to the point (highly recommend you follow instructions) the one grudge I have is the actual pad life. I have about 4-5 mm of pad left and its only been a year, plus their very noisy. You definitely have to clean and lube the shims every so often. They claim long rotor life but my Powerslots look like they've been through hell. They have saved me from accidents multiple times and the ABS has never kicked in during very hard braking. Overall very good pad just very noisy even in the earlier pad life. I'm gonna try the STOPTECH street pads next time and see how those work

I replaced my stock rotors and OEM pads with the Hawk HPS pads and Centric vented blanks in preparation for driving the Dragon this October. I couldn t be happier. Dust is nearly nonexistent, and while the pads do groan a bit, it s just when easing forward, and not nearly as bad as the OEM squeal. I drove the Dragon four times on this setup, and didn t feel them fade once - they actually got better as they heated up a bit.

When cold, the pads don t have the initial bite of the OEM ones, but this actually is better for a daily driver, as it makes the braking curve smoother and more communicative. In other words, they re not going to throw you through the windshield until you heat them up, and that s when you need better braking anyway. The Centric blanks are smooth and seem quite reliable. They will rust like every other blank, though, so don t expect otherwise.

These are probably OK for street use, with less dusting (under street conditions) than the OEM Textars. However, the initial bite (after bedding-in and a few hundred miles break-in) is decidedly inferior to the stock pads. Worse, as soon as you stress them they fall apart. I destroyed a new set of these pads (front and rear) in about 3 hours on the track at Watkins Glen. They covered the car in dust, faded miserably, (on a car with brake-fade compensation) and were much less durable than the stock pads under the same conditions. They failed to provide both the claimed performance improvement, and durability. Overall, a big disappointment.

On the upside, Tire Rack s service was, as usual, impeccable.

If you re looking for a pad with less dust than stock (under street conditions) and are willing to sacrifice performance, you may like these pads. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I am very pleased with the Centric rotors, a great price for a very solid product. I really like the brake feel and stopping power of the Hawk pads - but have found over two separate sets that the pads do not fit my car. When compared to pads from other companies the friction material is glued to the metal backing in a way that is offset to the outside of the pad and so the pad material overlaps the edge of the brake disc. It s unfortunately since I ve had great luck with Hawk products in the past. I will continue to purchase them for my other vehicles - but have found another manufacturer for this car.

I recently had Hawk HPS pads installed with Centric Cryo-stop rotors. This combined with Michelin Pilot Sport Plus tires make for very strong braking, with one caveat. The Hawk HPS pads require being hot before braking is strong. Applying the brake pedal moderately hard the first couple of times is disconcerting compared to the stock brakes. No particular complaints, yet. I am wondering about situations requiring emergency braking if the brakes are not yet hot. Also, living in Minnesota, I wonder if the brakes will ever heat up in the winter? That said, the brakes are different from stock. Not necessarily better or worse.

I m curious why other people are having squealing problems. My brakes aren t squealing at all. Are the brakes not "set" in the rotors (there are instructions on the Hawk HPS box). Perhaps the installer is no good or made a mistake?

At just under $200 for a set I am not impressed. When others write about the noise level they are NOT kidding. There is no driving style, short of not using brakes, that will minimize the noise. I ve seen school buses and dump trucks with quieter brakes. They do have above average stopping power but with that comes above average dusting. Too many choices out there to recommend these for the street. Keep looking.

I am unsure if I picked the right pads from your list. I was unhappy with the prior pads due to dust sowe tried the Street/Sport version. They work fine after the first corner or two, but the shock on not stoppng at the first turn means I probably wouldn t go back.

Went from Brembo pads to these pads. I will say they do not come close to the same standard of responsiveness as the Brembos. I always felt confident with the Brembos but these always seem to take a while to warm up. Definitely not satisfied with these and will have to look else where to purchase Brembo pads from now one since they no longer carry them here.

Lack initial bite. Stopping distances are increased versus OEM pads. Noticed no difference in performance once pads were warm after several stops. Exactly same characteristics on Honda Accord as well, using same pads. Purchased these pads for the two different vehicles thinking it was vehicle specific issue-it is not.

Went from stock pads to Hawk HPS pads in the front only. Immediately after the pad change the pedal feel was not as firm. It does take a few stops for the pads to warm up. Until the pads are warm the stopping power is only acceptable and not great. Once the pads are warm stopping power is comparable to stock pads. I do sit in quite a bit of stop and go traffic and that is when the noise of these pads come through. They squeal loud and often through traffic. Enough that people stop and look at me.

I do the occasional track day and I was hoping that these pads would be a good solution to my mixed use. I might end up buying the ceramic pads before the next track day since I am not sure i can tolerate the noise level.

I purchased these pads after running two track days at VIR with the stock ceramics that came on my Pontiac G8 GT. The stock pads experienced fade under the high heat situation on the track. The Hawk HPS pad was the next logical step for me as it is still a street pad but better in terms of fade resistance than the stock ceramics. They are very good pads. The only drawback for me in using these pads for everyday driving is that they do generate brake dust that is evident after washing the car after a couple days of normal driving. Normal driving for me is 50 miles a day or so. They were not noisy at all. I ran the HPS pads at the CMP track for my next track event. The pads were no doubt better than the stock ceramics but CMP is known for being very tough on brakes and the HPS pads didn t stop the car as quickly or surely as I would have liked. For this season, I ll be using Carbotech race pads. In the meantime, I have put the stock ceramics back on for everyday driving just because they don t generate dust and stop just fine under normal duty. I used the Hawk HPS pads for about 20k miles and, as I said before, they are good pads, just don t expect them to be dust-free.

Trying to slow a 2 ton Camaro down at an autocross event is a challenge- the Hawk pads do an excellent job without requiring too much pedal pressure, plus they work well on the street (I drive the car to events) and don t suffer from "needing to be heated up before working" as some pads do.

I replaced my worn out Satisfied Pro pads with the Hawk HPS pads because Tire Rack was out of stock of the Satisfied Pro pads equivalent to the Hawk HPS pads. I am extremely glad I ended up with the Hawk HPS pads. My old pads didn t fit onto the slider pins or into the caliper very well and they often had an intermittant grinding noise from the pad material. The Hawk HPS pads installed extremely easily with a perfect fit (not too tight and not too loose) and they also have much less noise than the Satisfied Pro pads. Whomever rated the Hawk pads for Tire Rack was not the same person to review the Satisfied Pro pads. The stopping power is very similar and the dust is about the same, but the Hawk pads win by a long shot because they don t grind intermittently and because they fit the calipers much better.

To all the people rating the Hawk HPS pads, check your rotor combination. The drilled/slotted rotors are FOR SHOW/TRACK... They just make things worse on the street. I combined stainless brake lines, HPS pads and smooth cryo-treated rotors and it is AMAZING the stopping power. I drive VERY spirited and these things stop so fast everything in my car gets thrown to the front when I brake hard. I was most impressed when I took them on a very twisted road course and after a few minutes in and the pads warmed up it seems like the stopping power increased. Not a single bit of fade for the whole course, but I haven t tried them on a track yet. I was so impressed by the pads I bought another set to keep in my garage for when I go to change them out again.

Changed to these to improve braking response and bite on my wife s Outback. They have made a considerable improvement countering the constant forward thrust coming from the automatic transmission as well as increasing the brakes ability to slow the car even when loaded down. The only compromise is slightly more dusting of the wheels which is well worth it.

Normally when you hear extended pad life, you tend to laugh because it is a performance pad that you know will be providing braking from high speeds but after 34,000+ miles and three years I still have 8/16ths left which is amazing. The stopping power is better than stock and paired with a slotted rotor is athestically pleasing as it looks good, but performs better. It should be noted that the slotted rotors contribute a bit to the long pad life of the HPS pads since they don t get as hot as with non slotted rotors. I m getting ready to replace my rear brakes and will be matching the fronts power slot rotors and HPS pads.

The hawk hps pads combined with centric rotors completely transformed my 2007 4runner. The original pads had tapers at either end and coupled with the anti-lock brakes they made dings in my rotors (really annoying and made the car shimmy to a stop). I put General grabbers on in conjunction with the hawk pads and centric rotors and couldn t be happier. The hawk pads are amazing, no wooden feel just perfect modulation. The hawk pads are also completely flat and I have not experienced any damage to the rotors when the anti-lock brakes kick in. I live in a rural area and unpaved roads and snow/ice result in the abs kicking in a lot. The hawk pads make a lot of dust but that s to be expected with a performance pad, the dust is very easy to remove though (doesn t bake on like cheap pad dust).

I had a pad (Pagid) from an online BMW parts manufacturer and after the initial break in period the pad were essentially sticking to the rotors resulting in a horrible vibration in the front end. After going to the dealer a handful of times it came down to the brake pads. Replaced the old Pagid pads with Hawks and the problem was fixed as well as adding stopping power and overall performance. I have these pads on my CTS-V as well, it s a good pad!

After changing pads and warping the stock rotors three times in 50K miles due to aggressive backroads driving, it was time for a change from stock rotors and pads on my 2007 Fit. The Hawk HPS Street pads and Power Slot Cryo rotors seem to be a perfect match for my wife s and my driving styles. After installation I carefully bedded in the new pads according to Hawk s instructions (lots of smoke/dust by the seventh hard stop, don t be alarmed.) Since then the increase in performance compared to stock is notable. Fade is gone when braking hard deep into corner after corner, pedal feel is consistent and firm, and there s absolutely no sign of rotor warpage. Decreasing radius downhill turns are no longer a subject of fear and trepidation. After 2000+ miles I m totally satisfied. Yes, this pad/rotor combination is a bit pricey, and the initial response to light pedal pressure is not as reassuring as stock brake pads...just press a bit harder and the stopping power brings a smile to your face. And, be sure to flush/fill the system with fresh brake fluid every 12-18 months to keep the pedal firm.

The Acura CL coupe is a very heavy car for the components it uses for braking. While the upgrade to HPS Hawk Pads and the Centric rotors were a definite improvement for street use, a big brake kit would probably have a much better impact to this heavy chassis. I would recommend this route for anyone whose driving is more spirited than the use this car gets as my daughter s daily driver. My main concern is keeping the kid safe. Fade in this case would be much more of a problem if I lived in a more mountainous region (other than flat NJ). Of course if I lived somewhere else I wouldn t have an Acura as a daily driver. I have the Hawks on two Ford F150 s, a 98 and an 08 along with my BMW Z4 I find them to be a big improvement over stock pads.

never remove wheels unless the brakes are ice cold to the touch or you can warp rotors. Always tighten your wheels with a torque wrench or your brake life and performance will be reduced.Flush your brake fluid completely and bleed all 4 brakes at each pad replacement. Don't compromise a proper brake job and become a LOSER!

Fantastic upgrade to OEM equipment at just over 50K miles. I purchased these in order to quickly slow down from over 105 MPH to slow speed on the German autobahn in my Honda Pilot SUV. The stock brakes would vibrate and shake which was scary in an SUV decelerating through 80 MPH in traffic. These new brake rotors and pads are awesome. They provide smooth, precise, quiet braking quickly and efficiently from high speed in all weather conditions including rain, snow, and ice. There is no fade and they work great in heavy rain, throwing off the water and performing when I ask. Even in sudden stops, they are fantastic. Also great on long downhills through the Alps without overheating or fading. Dust and noise aren''t bad. So glad I bought them!

I was never impressed with the OEM pads as far as braking performance. I still had 60% padlife, but the change was a 200% improvement over the stock OEM garbage. Car now drive like it should, no squeals and it stops much shorter with the Hawks. This was my first non pep boys/NAPA/Autozone pads and I will NEVER waste my money again, very impressed. The Land Rover (tow mule) will be getting these pads as well in the spring when the hitch goes back on.

These are horrible brake pads. They are significantly worse than BMW OEM for initial bite and panic stops. The pedal travel is increased for some reason too. Do not make a mistake and buy these pads. I am a frequent big track participant and autocross driver and these pads are just terrible. I am using BMW OEM Euro floating rotors, SS brake lines, and ATE Super Blue fluid. These pads are coming off the car as soon as I can get another type. Regardless of whether you are on the track or on the street these pads will scare you if you need to stop quickly. You have been warned !!!

I put these on my TSX. The rear brakes went after 26,000 mostly highway miles. Seems to be a problem with Honda Accord and TSX on original pads. I bought these, I wasn''t happy with original stopping power - no noise, much better stopping - can''t wait to change fronts as sell. I drive quick - 85 on highway, but here near NY with lots of traffic, brakes can take a beating doing 85-10 then 85-10 30 seconds later as people slow often. Highly recommended. BTW, easy change yourself. Instead of giving dealer $350, took maybe 25 minutes with help of my brother to do rears.

My S2000 is a daily driven, weekend track day car. I''ve been using the Hawk HPS front and back on the street and they are an excellent street pad. I change out the fronts to Carbotech XP-10s for track days. The Hawks on the rear really stand up to track days. They''ve lasted much longer than the stock or Axxis Ultimates.

The Hawk HPS pads stop as well or better than the factory pads. Brake fade is nonexistent. Brake dust on the wheels is minimal. It is nothing compared to that produced by the factory pads. There is an occasional brake squeal when backing up after washing my car, otherwise there is no squeal.

These pads give me the confidence to drive my car to its performance potential.

As expected these rotors and pads are an outstanding combo. I have 18 volks so the rotors look small but somewhat clean. The response is ok but then comes the stopping power. You need to spend the money in order to save your car. I spent about 700 on this and had a friend installed. I wish I could have got a big brake kit but you know how we can''t afford it right now. Overall these brakes are worth everything.

Purchased these pads as a replacement to my worn out OEM pads. Based on a recommendation from a friend I chose Hawk HPS. I replaced my rotors with OEM rotors at this time as well. Compared to OEM pads, these offer a more progressive stop and less dust. However, I feel overall stopping power is the same or slightly better. I have had no noise in the 6,000 miles I''ve had these pads installed.

Did some research and came across these ATE rotors for the Lexus IS250. Replaced the front brake pads w/ Hawk street performance pads and ATE Slotted Rotors. Couldn''t be happier. I wanted something that would perform better than stock and this combo fit the bill. The produce very little dust compared to stock, and out perform stock in dry and especially wet conditions. The rotor''s looks is very unique and I chose slotted because I have heard issues w/ cross drilled rotors. Also I was pleased to notice that they are not noisy and don''t squeak at all like some performance brakes do.

This is my second set of these brakes - the first set lasted about 7 years, somewhere between 30,000 - 40,000 mi I think. These brakes have saved my life. I repeat, I would not be alive it were not for these brakes. They have saved me countless amounts of money on avoided accidents (I am an "aggressive driver"). The stock brake pads on my miata were nothing compared to these. I had stock pads for 30k mi before I got my first set of these HPS pads and I will never tolerate that garbage again. If you want to stop dead in the street you better hold on to your lunch, glasses, and keep your eyes in their sockets cuz things will go flying... I couldn''t believe that brakes at this price could be so good. Needless to say I will buy Hawk HPS for every car I own for the rest of my life as long as they make them for that car. On second thought I will only buy cars for which they make Hawk HPS pads.

Getting these brakes to fade even a little takes lots of effort - They should stand well in an autocross setting if that''s your thing but they can get smelly under heavy abuse. WATCH yourself during the break in period and break them in according to manufacturer''s instructions. They are terrible for the first 50 miles or so unless broken in in a brutal fashion.

Terribly overrated pads. I have the HPS matched with rotora''s drilled/slotted rotors for my Audi A4. After searching for pads that might offer an improvement over the stock pagid pad that come on Audis I settled on the HPS. These pads offer no initial bite and although they dust significantly less than stock, they scare me sometimes with how poorly they stop the car. They simply requires a lot of peddle force to stop, and after the stock pads which would stop on a dime I am terribly disappointed. I find they do improve as they get hotter but these aren''t race pads and shouldn''t have to be heated every time I need to go run an errand. Overall I feel these have been given an undeservedly good reputation and I would advice against buying them.

I love these Hawk pads a little pricey but they rock. I use my car as a daily driver/ autocross events.Note I use new rotors+hawk pads+brake fluid flush a must for good results. Stopping distance has been reduced from 164ft@60mph to 133ft@60mph "G-Tech readings" Brake do wear faster than oem pads but have the added stopping power is amazing Great option instead of a big brake kit. I use pads on all my cars F150, Focus SVT, Rabbit GTI and Golf. A must buy if you want to stop on a dime. 5stars *****~!

Rotors: Brembo Replacement Rotor

November 20, 2009

For years I wanted The Hawks HPS Street as my "next" replacement pads but due to contemplating on getting rid of this car or not, I have finally decided to keep this vehicle due the mileage I have accumulated. As a car enthusiast and a MB Tech, I have more then a fair amount of knowledge on brakes. When my stock pads needed replacement, I bought F+R Rotora rotors and EBC Green pads. Performed the recommended bedding in procedure, the EBC proved to be a set of worthless pads, Brake fade after two 70 mph stops! As I understand they don t start working after the pads have been slightly warmed up, but the DON T work after they have warmed up. I had to get rid of them after 10k because I had total brake lost, Twice!!! SO, I was not going to spend $150 on brake pads again, I bought F+R pads from advance auto (WearEver Silvers) These were honestly the best pads you can buy, NO BUll! Great initial bite, Cold or Warm. NO BRAKE Fade after 3+ high speed stops. And they lasted ~70K. Impressive for $60 pads. Now my car has 120K and i know I will be running this car to the ground. After reading all the reviews from Tire Rack. I went ahead and place them thru Tire Rack, Great Service and Fast shipping!!! I put on new brembo rotors and these AWESOME HAWKS HPS Street pads. Following the bedding in procedure, and off I go. Took it gently for 2 weeks and I was anxious to test the pads out. What do you know, BRAKE FADE after ONE high speed stop, almost rear ended the car in front of me b/c I had no brakes. Since these are "High" performance Street pads, Its understanding that the braking power won t be there until they are slightly warm, but its not there in any temperature ie cold, warm, hot, etc. Its like the EBC Greens BUT Worst, In every case!!! Thought it was my rotors so luckily I kept the Wear Ever pads, and swap them out for test purpose. I Could not believe how good the Wear Ever pads were with the brembo rotors. I spent $171 for the hawk pads to find out they were junk.

Overall, I like them. They don''t stop fast w/o decent pressure (so they aren''t too grabby), but when decent pressure is applied, they do stop fast. I "love" the lack of brake dust. Since I only did the front, I sometimes wonder if the rear is doing more breaking now (that is to say, I wonder if I have shifted the ratio of braking force applied more to the back, given the different brake pads in the front and back). I wonder this because it seems like there is much more brake dust on the rear wheels (with the stock pads) than there used to be, but it is hard to gauge, since the front has VERY VERY little dust with these.

My RX-7 has four-piston brakes up front, so it already has strong brakes, but the Hawk HPS/Brembo plain rotor combo makes it a stopping fiend. On the autocross course, I can brake very late into turns and experience little fade. I don''t notice much dust, but then again my wheels are very open! The pads are pretty civil for daily-driving and I can haul the car down very quickly from high speeds when panic-stopping without lockup. My only complaints are that the pads tend to start squealing after a while in heavy traffic and the initial bite could be improved a bit. Otherwise, these are great dual-duty pads.

I replaced the pads (Hawk) and rotors (PowerSlot) on my 04 Maxima, hoping to improve the overall braking response and feel. Unfortunately, this combination is a waste of good money. An extremely loud whirring noise when braking resounds throughout the cabin and the vibration transmits up through the steering assembly. I tried re-seating the pads, complete with anti-chatter lube. No change. I remounted the rotors as a precaution but again, no change. The rotors are not warped, but rather impossible to stop without the above-noted growling.

I recently purchased stock rotors and will replace the PowerSlots. You''ll never see me with another pair of these highly disappointing rotors.

Replaced my stock rotors and pads with the ATE slotted rotor and Hawk HPS pads. At first was a little apprehensive with the unusual elliptical design of the slots, but after several hundred miles, the rotors are quiet and with the Hawk Pads, there is much better fade resistance than the original stock setup. Dusting from the pads are almost non-existent, a huge advantage over the stock pads. I will definitely consider the ATE rotors and Hawk pads for my FX-35 when the time comes to change replace those.

These brake components were actually installed on my 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo, which shares the brake parts with the WRX. The Cryo-Stop rotors still look almost brand new, even after multiple track days. Not the slightest abnormal wear and you can still see the hatch markson the rotor surface. Not a single spot of rust on it, but CO is a very dry state. The Hawk HPS pads worked well enough for occasional track use, but the amount of dust has kept me very busy cleaning the wheels and seems excessive. The pads are also very noisy, even when at normal operating temperature. They tend to squeal at partial brake application, but are silent at moderate to hard braking. Overall a good combination that I would use again.

This review is for the ATE Rotors as the Hawk HPS pads have always been awesome, especially when paired with Brembo blank rotors. The Brembo rotors weren t available so I thought I would give the ATE s a try. These rotors look great out of the box due to the anti-rust coating but that same coating has turned into a bad glazing, low brake bite situation. In the first hundred miles they were good as the coating has some gritty consistency to it but the pads just cannot break through to the softer metal now. Cold they are even worse. I will try roughing them up with a wire wheel but I wish I had waited for the Brembos.

I am extremely happy with the Hawk HPS pads. The stock pads just weren '' giving the initial bite I was wanting- the HPS to do. They have the bite, but they are not grabby. There is dust, but it is minimal. If you take even decent care of your car, you won''t even notice the dust. I don''t do track days so I can''t really comment on fade.

I am very satisfied with these brake pads, I would say they are equal to or better than the factory brembo pads that came on the car. I have had no brake noise after the first 20 break-in miles. Dust on the wheels is average. They seem to be very responsive even when they''re cold and stop well.

I purchased the Cryo rotors because I thought that they would be more resistant to warping. However, after only a few miles, I am getting pulsation in the brake pedal. Perhaps this is due to some warping in the stock rear rotors, but I doubt it. I am surprised by this result.

Combined the Power Slot rotors with Hawk HPS pads and couldn''t be more happier. An amazing upgrade from stock brakes. Nowhere near as noisy as I thought they would be and haven''t really noticed a dust problem, albeit they''ve only been on a short while. A really tough looking appearance under the chrome wheels. Installation was easy, everything fit perfectly and from the moment I opened the box (which came one day after ordering, by the way) I could sense the quality in these parts. Checked rotors with dial indicator before install and they were dead on. Followed bed in procedures and now I have a system that will slow me down as fast as I speed up. Excellent choice and excellent service from TR!

The vehicle now Vibrates at 80 MPH + ... did not do that before I changed the rotors

I have upgraded brakes and rotors on many vehicles and all the vehicles I have ever owned and this is the first time I had a vibration problem

Considering these are expensive rotors and I waited a ridiculous amount of time for them they are not worth the money nor do I recommend them at all

How can they be a perfrmance rotor and vibrate at any speed ... enough that it is felt in steering input

The Hawk pads do exactly what they say they do I recommend those and would probably buy them again

I started out with all stock components, I warped them easily. The pads and rotors are just great I love the performance. They stop without a squeal and I have not experienced any heat soak. I had them over a year now and they feel new. Like most rotors they will get a little rust on them when it sits for a few days in the rain but the rust has not affected the performance and it goes away with a quick drive around the block.

My stock rubber brake line exploded on me, sending my pedal to the floor and that was a scary experience. I had the G-stop brake lines for a a couple of months now and they just give you the confidence in your pedal. The stainless steel lines are of very good quality and they give you feedback and improved feeling. I definitely don''t think twice about my brakes holding up on the road

I mostly do spirited mountain driving on the weekends, and that consists a lot of hard braking. These brake pads certainly do the job and it does it good. Good for the street and autocross. More than enough of what you will be needing it for if you put it on a daily driven car that is driven aggressively at times.

All in all, you get a bit more of what you pay for, good pads.

If you tend to drive your vehicle aggresively, do not buy these pads. I bought these thinking that they would be a decent street pad. Braking torque is decreased, pedal feel is weird, requires more pedal to slow vehicle down, overall I''m not satisfied at all with the performance aspect of these pads. For those that this matters to, they do dust less, and hardly make any noise.

If these pads weren''t so rediculiously noisey they would be great pads. I''ve had them a few weeks, and they have very good stopping power, but they also have a constant squeak/churp that increases with speed. I took the time to break them in twice,(I took them out and resurfaced them once to try and quiet them down) but they still develop a loud squeak after a while. The rotor are also in great shape with no glazing or warping thats noticable. As far as brake dust they''re not terrible about producing it, but they''re not at all great about not producing dust either. I do not recommend these pads for street use soley for the noise. It''s annoying and embarrassing. I plan to replace them soon because of it. Otherwise they''re great pads

I instaled new rotors, brake lines and Hawk pads in Dec of `07. 25000 miles later the fronts need replaced. I am very happy with the performance of these pads. I live in east Tennessee, lots of mountains and rolling hills, two lane roads:) I rated these pads an 8 simply because I have nothing except the OEM to compare them to. Great stopping power and moderate dust. A small amount of noise especially with first brake application. I had hoped for more miles before changing pads again, but I am very happy with the performance of these pads.

Decent pads for the street, much less dust than OEM; however, they do not have quite the initial bite as OEM pads. While they may be ok for limited autocross duty, they are not acceptable for track or driving schools, quickly overheating, glazing, and a creating potentially dangerous situation.

I drive mostly in the Chicago city area and with the weather constantly changing from hot to cold the pads still manage very well. I put the hawk street pads on all tires and I was shocked! they break effortlessly and going from 50 to 0 mph is a breeze. They only faded one time and that was on a drag strip after the 3rd race!! break dust on the front after 20000 miles is a pain although they weren''t too dusty when I first bought them. the rear doesn''t dust at all. also after 20000 miles they got kinda loud and started making grinding noises as well as a squeak here and there. [now keep in mind that I drive VERY spiritedly and probably decreased the life on my pads by another 20000 miles] the a.b.s. very rarely turns on but its still alot less than stock pads. they also evenly use up the rotor without damaging it. Now I am debating on what to buy because I want less dust but more breaking power.

I actually bought these by mistake. I had meant to buy the Hawk Ceramics to match up with the ones on my front brakes. They had worked very well for me and had almost zero brake dust.

These pads are far more effective than the OEM pads I replaced and are very responsive. The only problem is that they do seem rather dusty.

I switched to the Hawk HPS with Powerslot Plus 12" rotors from using Akebono ProAct ceramic pads with stock rotors. The HPS definitely has a lot more initial bite and fade resistance versus a ceramic pad. The HPS is also very quiet, but rarely to occasionally has its hums and squeaks during a slow stop, which could also be from the slotted rotors. They make significantly more dust than the ceramic rotors, which shows on the graphite-colored wheels within 2-3 weeks of cleaning them. The dust is the only downfall of these pads that I''ve discovered thus far... I''m going to try the Gran Sport pads next, but only out of curiosity. I definitely recommend the HPS.

Loving the HPS pads. They do need a little heat to really come alive , but when they do you really have something. Great upgrade from stock for any vehicle. Had a little trouble with the rubberized back plates coming loose, could be a lot of heat, could be calipers/rails with 180k on em. Don''t really care, great brakes.

Granted, these pads are on the family hauler, but they are a huge improvement over oem. They provide a much better pedal feel, are more linear in the way they grab and have reduce stopping distances. The only negative, and a small one at that, is that they do put off more dust than oem. I would definitely recommend them.

After re-surfacing the rotors, bedding the pads as per recommendations, and driving the car for 1000 miles, had to replace the pads due to extremely poor performance. My driveway has quite a slope to it, and when backing out of the garage, it required extreme effort on the brake pedal to stop the car from continuing out into the street. Further, braking distances rose, alarmingly. Removed the pads, re-surfaced the rotors again, and installed same manufacturer of pads I had on the car previously, EBC Greenstuff, and now my cars braking performance is where I expect it... I will not be buying the Hawk pads again.

Ate rotors are not as precise and assuring as the vented power slots I had on previously. The overall feel is good but not as firm and grippy. I would consider this set up again as a cost affective upgrade from OE. The hawk hps pads are an amazing pad that not only does it offer low brake dust but the gripping none fading power brings confidence in the turns and under heavy braking. I have tried many other brands of pads and this has to be the ultimate pad.

HPS pads only upgrade for Autocrossing. Once warmed up a little they perform great. Get a little squeak when cold, which turns into a little moan when warm, pulling off slowly from a dead stop or rolling about 5mph. Not noticeable during daily driving except to the truly sensitive ear. Once warm they respond very quickly and I''ve not experienced any fade issues (but have not road raced on them!). They give a little more dust than I was expecting but easy trade off for performance level.

I LOVE THESE PADS. The pads are such an improvement over the stock pads, a very noticeable difference and the stopping power is always there. I have driven in varying conditions, including rain, extreme heat, city, highway and very spirited driving, they have never ceased to perform beyond my expectations. The only complaints are the dust and when sitting at a light unless I have my foot fully on the brake pedal, they creak, if the brake pedal is fully pressed at a stop light then the creaking goes away.

Daily Driven MINI. Not to excited about the cold braking power of the setup. Not quite sure if it is the rotors or the pads. I have heard no noise. I have seen no dust. Much better than stock. My heart jumps and the pucker factor goes to ten whenever I reach the first corner AUTOXing or just leaving for work. I do believe that I would get more bite from the Caliper alone with out any pads in them. Get some HEAT in them and hold on. Completely different once HOT. I cannot stress enough how well these brakes work when hot especially when coupled with my Yokohama Advan A048s. Awesome on the track or up in the hills.

The hawk brakes have 200 miles on them and they are sitting in my garage. I am very displeased on them and would never recommend them to anyone.

I bought these pads to "upgrade" the stockers and at the same time save some money, at first I thought ohh well it''s going to take time to break em in, but after 1000 miles and my wife complaining that the brakes dont stop as they used to I decided to take it for a spin--boy I was shocked the way these brakes were braking so poorly, i even took up to 90mph and did a vigorous braking to a full stop

I own the JCW version of the Mini S. I''m very satisfied with the Hawks. I''ve noticed a marked difference when autocrossing and driving PCA events where I''ve attained speeds of 125+ MPH, with significantly less fade than the stock Mini S brake system. I drive hard on my Montana mountain roads and feel very confident about the Hawks. Plus, I have the white spoked wheels which I feared would dust up badly with the higher performance Hawks. I was pleasantly surprised. Buy em!

Fade? not a chance, they grip even better when warmed up, when they are cold they are about the same as OEM, but after a few quick stops they bite very well. Brake force modulation is very good, they don''t make any more dust than OEM and there is no sounds coming from them at all. So to sum it up these are perfect for anyone and a must for someone who likes to drive fast.

BUT change your old rotors when putting these on, no need for slotted or drilled :)

These pads are an excellent replacement with very low noise and dust but with excellent stopping power. I replaced Porterfield R4-S pads with the Hawk HPS pads and am very happy with the overall performace of the Hawks. I would rate them a tick down from the Porterfields in terms of raw stopping power but they are much quieter and they seem to dust much less. I would compare the dust level and quietness to the OEM pads but with much much better stopping power and brake feel. I have been thru quite a few sets of pads on my WRX and these are the best compromise for the street in my opinion. Other pads that I have run are, Stock OEM, EBC Greenstuff and the Porterfield R4-S.

What a huge difference in stopping these brakes make. I have the stopping power of a Saturn SC2 w/ a 1000lb heavier car. Wet days can be a little concerning as with wet rotors and pads there is a noticeable difference in the responsiveness. However, after a second or two on the brakes, the brake dry up and return to their normal stopping power. When the brakes heat up the car will stop on a dime. If there is any brake fade, it occurs at such high temps and is so limited that I have yet to notice any real performance degradation even with repeated 70mph hard stops. I love these brakes.

This is the second time replacing pads & rotors on this car. The last rotors were also Brembo slotted, but this is the first time with HPS pads. The rotors look good and work well, although there s a little more noise than smooth rotors when stopping hard. Also, installer said they couldn''t be reground - hence buying my second set. Cost was less than half the insane Infiniti cost. HPS pads work well and have better initial bite than OEM pads. The installer warned me they would be noisy as they are "racing" pads, and for the first day or so, they were quite noisy, mostly when not on the brakes. After the secon day, I don''t have the noise anymore and think they sound similar to the OEM set-up

I put these pads on my 1994 Miata. The car sees regular track duty and this means these brakes get used hard. They work great for the street, and even after 25 minutes of continual abuse on a 19-turn 2 mile road course, there was no noticeable fade. In fact, they seem to be even happier with some heat in them! With mild pressure, I was able to get my Azenis RT-615s to lock even at the end of the session.

There should not be any issues should you decide to put them on your street-driven car or truck since they behave like normal brake pads with good manners (not too much dust and no noise). However, if you are tracking a heavier car or are using R-compound tires, you may want to look at something a bit more aggressive.

The Brembo rotors and Hawk HPS pads are a great addition to a car that already stops very well. With the HPS pads, properly bedding them in is crucial! Otherwise, the pads are quite noisy and don''t bite well. After bedding them in, I''ve experienced consistent, predictable braking behavior in highway, city, and autocross driving. There is slightly more brake dust than on the original pads, but they are quiet. I only experienced fade after a long day of autocrossing and even then, it was very little. Initial bite is very good and more than suffices for street driving, though it could be a little better for autocrossing. I have HP+ pads on the way for autocross racing, but these pads are great for street-driven performance cars. As for the rotors, the quality is much nicer than the parts store models that they replaced.

So far the combo of new pads, rotors, and braided lines has yielded less braking force than I expected. Cold stops are not quite as good as OEM, but with some heat in the pads they stop REALLY well. Not enough miles on them yet to determine brake dust, but so far everything appears fine. ZERO noise (which was my biggest concern)... pads will probably bed in a little more to help with cold temp stops. Lines may need another bleed to get full power from them.

While they only lasted 25000 miles, they went through many hard mountain drives and 3 track events. On track, the HPS will NOT give you all out performance, and they will fade very quickly, so you must pay careful attention to feel and be conservative with your brakes during HPDEs. Otherwise these are the best street pad I''ve used. Far better than stock in every way, worth the money, and I will probably buy them again.

Put Hawk HPS Street on because it was time and because brake fade with the stock Honda brakes after multiple hard stops was apparent. The Hawks exceeded my expectations: no fade, significantly increased stopping power, less brake dust, I can''t say enough about them. They made the car brakes far better than stock.

I went back to Brembo blanks after having used ATE Premium One''s with the same Hawk HPS pads. There is a world of difference with having slotted rotors instead of blanks. The brakes feel less responsive and just a little weaker in general. These rotors also cause the pads to heat up MUCH quicker, which has caused the rotors to begin to warp. Dust on the wheels is a good bit, but no more than expected. Bottom line, if you re looking at doing a brake job on a Camaro or something similar (GTO, G8, Mustang, Charger, etc.) get some slotted or drilled rotors, it''s worth the money.

Good brake pads. Outstanding fade resistance once they get hot. They do take some pedal pressure when cold to stop, but once hot, there''s no doubt about their stopping ability. Much improved over stock. Highly recommend doing the brake fluid at the same time. Either Ate super blue or motul 5.1. Moderate dust but not much worse then stock pads. I''ve had zero noise. Not a squeak, rattle, or otherwise. Will almost definitely be my pad of choice from now on.

The Passat is my wife''s car and as such is a bit of a sleeper. I drove it for a month and when she started using it again she said the brakes weren''t as good as when I started using the car. Well that''s probably because I toasted the brakes. The Hawk pads love left foot braking, repeated hard applications and play racing. After your first stop in the morning they are ready to go and all that is needed is a squeaze with your big toe to suck the speed out of the car. I use these with slotted rotors in my 06 Dodge Ram and in the Passat. They are soft enough to have a progressive feel without excessive pressure yet hard enough to stand up to hard use. They wear consistant with stock pads, dust about the same and work much better. There is no reason to wait. I put these pads on as soon as they are available for my car and I am never dissapointed.

I have been driving on these pads for a month now and love them. I replaced the front pads with the HPS, rear with the stock pads, and new stock rotors all around. I followed Hawk''s bedding-in procedures exactly and the brakes perform flawlessly. They have at least good, if not better, stopping power as the stock organic pads and are silent like the stock pads. The only thing missing is the dust. These are great! I used to have to wash the front wheels weekly. Now the front wheels are cleaner after two weeks than the rear wheels. I should have gotten these sooner. I would replace the new stock rear pads with the HPS but they do not make the rear pads for my vehicle.

I was a little apprehensive about the dust from an earlier post indicating they were not much better than stock, but they must have written the review too early. These did generate some dust at first, but all pads will dust until they bed with the rotors. Now they are clean as a whistle.

I will definitely buy these again, and will install them on my daughter s S70. No more black wheels!

I recommend them highly.

I think I have a case of a bad rotor here. I have a shimmy that occurs after upgrading to these front drilled rotors. I think this defect was from the inital rotor, as I''ve done countless rotor swaps and never resulted in the shimmy.

Otherwise they look great and are holding up. I plan to replaces the rotors with the next pad change to see if this resolves the vibration issue I get at around 70 mph

First of all, it was less expensive for me to replace both the rotors and brake pads through Tire Rack then it was to have a new set of stock pads installed at the Acura dealer and have them turn the rotors. Buy in absolute confidence from Tire Rack! These people are God''s gift to spirited drivers! I also used the website to pick a local installation garage (Benson s). By the time it was all done and told, I was still 5 dollars ahead and had improved quality/ability pads and rotors over original equipment!

Now that we are finished with all of that fanfare, I drove gently for about 10 days with the advice from Benson s. That break-in period was quickly shortened when I was driving home one evening. I was driving up route 45 North when traffic came to a very sudden stop. Even though I had left about 1.5 car lengths in front of me, there was an emmergency happening about 10 cars up. When I saw the brake lights in front of me my right somehow stabbed the brake pedal. With little drama or grinding noise I shaved 65 MPH off of my speed. I could not believe the difference. it was dramatic, to say the least. Unhesitatingly recommended! I cannot praise this Tire Rack, Benson''s, and the ATE (ah-tay) rotor enough. My friend has the DBS, and is similarly impressed, but the ATE''s look a lot better and seem to run cooler and fade less.

Better then stock performance on my Sentra Se-R Spec-V. The pads and rotors are wearing in nicely and expect a lot more life out of them. The rotor itself got rusty immediately but I didn''t mind as much but it just makes them look bad. Beside that perfect performance and no fade and I drive spiritedly on a daily basis.

Stopping power is great compared to stock. I mostly take my car to the track and some road racing. It''s almost a 700hp car and stopping from 130-140 quick is not a problem with these rotors. The hawk brake pads are also great...The only thing is that they do have a lot of brake dust. I would definitely get these rotors again. I will be purchasing them for my next project.

I heard good things about Hawk HPS pads and the low brake dust emitted. However, I came to realize that the Hawk HPS pads do not have the strong initial brake bite as the stocks do. The Hawk pads are pretty durable and seem to have plenty of life left. There are lots of other choices out there for brake pads, and there''s always some kind of sacrifice to make when purchasing a set of aftermarket or OEM brake pads. The Hawks could have more initial brake bite than expected, but other than that it meets my criteria for responsiveness, low brake dust and noise level.

These pads

Are quiet

Are gentle on your rotors

Offer predictable linear linear pedal feel

Offer greater initial bite

Offer much better fade resistance during repeated hard breaking.

Slightly better than stock cold bite

Dust more than stock.

I am happy with my HPS Pads but after doing more research I''ve found even better pads for the same price. Next time I will try something else.

Way too noisy. 7k on pads and still made a metal on metal sound. My rotors were turned and I followed the bedding procedure 3 times and the noise just kept getting worse. Not for a daily driver.

Too noisy. Brakes would make a metal on metal grinding sound from 15 pmh to stop. The sound was way too much for a daily driver. Stopping power was great but the initial bite wasn''t what I expected. Low dust. Ate up my stock rotors. Would not recommend these pads for a daily driver.

These HPS pads have poor initial bite in wet or cold climates. The Stock OEM pads from Infiniti''s G35 Coupe are way better in this area. However, the stock pads dust very bad.

It takes a lot of pressure on the brake pedal to get the car to stop. When I first put them on my wifes car she thought she was going to go thru a stop sign. I assured her they worked fine with enough pressure, but because they are not very responsive at low pressure, she is not very happy

Followed the instructions and my normal procedure for bedding in; got them up to a good temp gradually. Think I did it right. They do not stop that much better than the lame Acura stock pads. The dust will eat the paint of your wheels! Yes, I should wash my car more often, but these nearly destroyed the finish on my factory wheels.

I have the UUC/Wilwood 4 wheel BBK. These pads are great for the street. I''m not sure why they claim low dust becuase they are not. They tended to get a little noisy after 12k miles but I do have drilled rotors. Overall, excellent bite, stopping power and fade resistance on the street.

They suck on the track though. Went from a 3/4 left on the front at the start of the track day, I was down to about 1/8 left at the end. The pedal went soft about half way through. I think my car was a little nose heavy anyway which could have contributed to the pads early demise. Before these pads went to crap, they did feel awesome.

Great pads for the street. I just bought another set to replace the fronts. I am also shopping for some track pads.

These pads have been great for the car. The car doubles as my daily driver and track car when I have the time. They are quiet and low on brake dust. I have had to use them harshly a few times and every time there was no fad
