These brakes squeal really bad. I replaced my old Brembo pads because they squeal and they didn t even need it. I used a healthy amount of grease and at first they only squealed very slightly. Just today, they squeal so bad and it is very embarrassing. Every time I stop people look at me.
So far Brembo pads are a big Fad.
I am going to maybe try and bed them again. Last resort jack the car up, pull the pads and spray some anti squeal. The rear pads had 45deg corners and the fronts do not. maybe the fronts need to be beveled even though it sounds like its only the rears because of the lighter pressure?

I recently purchase this pads to meet two of my requirements: 1. Stop the noise 2. Stop the brake dust. I was concerned at first with the noise because after the bedding procedure the pads made noise on regular braking. But after a couple of miles of stop and go traffic during my daily work commute the noise stopped. I washed my wheels two weeks ago and the wheels are still shinny like I just washed them I am really happy about that no more black dubs. Performance braking power is not a concern of mine because my 300C is just a daily driver I am not planning on going to the track.

The previous owner of the Corvette had replaced the brakes a year ago with OEM ceramic brake pads and OEM cross drilled rotors. Upon inspection the brakes visually looked fine but braking power, initial bite, dusting and noise were not up to snuff (not bad but I knew it could be better). I decided to try the Hawk performance ceramic brake pads with brake paste on the outside shims (somehow it helps with noise). Big difference I am now completely happy with the brakes. 90% less dusting and a lot less noise with better initial bite (even with the somewhat harsh break in procedure). The OEM brakes weren t bad but compared to the Hawk s the difference is night and day. I hate noisy brakes and now there is only very occasional noise. The rotors were in great shape so I decided to skip the recommended sanding, machining, etc. If the Hawk s hold up I ll definitely get them again come the need for new brakes.

I bought the Hawk ceramic brake pads for my truck as I wanted some brake pads that could stand up to the duty of occasional towing while still being good for normal street use. They work well with towing and seem to slow the truck down a little more than the stock brakes, but not too much more. I am glad I made this choice with brakes.

I replaced my stock pads on my J55 brake option 90 Corvette. The original pads at 28000 miles faded badly on a couple of high speed stops. It felt like the pads were just bouncing along on the rotors. These new pads bedded in quickly and have really good stopping power with little or no dusting. The rotors are still like new. Very quiet and great performance!

Exceedingly pleased with the Hawk Performance Ceramic Pads I installed on my 06 GTO. They are quiet as a mouse, responsive and virtually dust-free so far. At a reasonable price, they are certainly worth every penny and I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for decent pads and will definitely be willing to purchase these pads again in the future. I hope this review serves you well as I based my purchase on the previously submitted reviews of this product and am glad I did. Happy driving and be safe!!

These are a huge improvement in noise and brake dust over OEM pads on a 2008 Audi Q7.

I m completely happy with this rotor / pad combo. No more noise, no more brake dust and superior stopping power. Need more mileage to see how this setup wears compared to OEM brakes

Excellent pads probably second best i had. They tend to be better under hard breaking conditions, excellent on the highway and emergency stopping, about the same as stock Ralliart pads in every day driving, but much better fade resistance and under hard breaking, recommended for any enthusiast or for a mild track day, or any everyday spirited driving.

Short and sweet: Amazing brakes warm and dry, good brakes wet, be careful cold.

I ve used these during commutes, weekend drives, and long trips across states. This winter was bad and when temperature really dropped I had to press much harder on the pedal to slow my car down. If it was an icy day, I would spend the first few hundred yards warming up my brakes with some extra stops so that I would feel safe when up to speed. On wet days I still had a bit of this sensation, but not nearly as much. After one or two stops everything felt back to normal. Where these brakes really shine is on longer trips or on hot days when the brakes get a little warmer. When warm, these brakes will stop you on a dime. Great feel and quick responsiveness. On one >600 mile trip just after I installed the brakes I actually was a little scared by the stopping power since I wasn t used to performance pads. Once I got the feel for them, I felt much safer than I ever had with my oem pads.

Overall, great pads in normal weather and even more impressive in warm weather. If you live anywhere with harsh winters, they re still fine as long as you warm them up a bit on cold mornings. Wouldn t use too near either of the poles.
