The only issue I have had is the hawk pads started squeaking 10k miles after installation. I pulled them off and the panted backing had worn off from the caliper. I regressed the pads and reinstalled. The noise is now gone and the car has way more braking power

If you can see your brembo rotors, definitely a good idea to get the centers painted. The centers and edges are orange with rust within 2 weeks. Purely a matter of asthetics. They work very well, although they take a while to warm up to their optimal temperature. My Del Sol stops incredibly fast once they ve warmed up, but when they re cold I ve got the stopping distance of an Accord.

A little spongey, but definite stopping power. Low/no dust. A couple of NASA track days. Good all around performance.

I was looking for an alternative to the stock brake pad & rotor which was very dusty and had a bit too much initial grab for my preferences. The Tire Rack sales personnel helped me find an alternative that has a smooth brake pedal take up, with great stopping power when you step on it. I was also looking to find a "dust free" solution that did not require weekly cleaning of the front wheels. The solution was Hawk performance ceramic pads with dba 400 slotted rotors. I think the solution is perfect for my driving style. The dust is gone. The initial brake pedal take up is smooth, allowing for casual around town driving without giving everyone a mild case of whiplash. Brakes still stop great when needed. I had occassion to test them with an unplanned panic stop, and although a few feet longer stopping distance than the OEM, still stopped well short of needing to hit the ditch to avoid becoming #3 in a high speed pile up. The dBA rotors appear to be without wear, so perhaps these would last a couple of lifetimes under average use. Great recommendations, and great products. I am a satisfied customer.

Sometimes you can hear a noise when braking on reverse.

The stopping power on these things are great, but the rotors warped after a year of owning them and I drive very light. They are also noisy. I would not waste my money on these things again. The warranty only covers structural damage to the rotors. I am very disappointed with my purchase...

I like the look of the Powerslot rotor, but I can''t rate them very well because of the TERRIBLE Hawk Performance Ceramic pads that I got to go with them.
Can they fade if the suck before they''re warm? I would never use these on the track. I have track pads instead, but used to use the OEM pads without difficulty. Most of my track days are DE s at Roebling which is very easy on brakes.

I can t believe it took me this long to put HAWK pads and power slot rotors on. What a difference... I used to clean my front wheels once or twice a week due to the stock brake pad dust. Not anymore. Infiniti should just give up on stock pad and just put HAWK pads with Powerslot rotors and call it a day. Do yourself a favor and put this combo on your vehicle and stop dealing with dust and brake noise. I am puting a set on my wifers FX in a couple of months. Had the pads and rotors installed at a TireRack prefered installer and go a great price. Call around first. Shell in Great Falls VA is top notch. Will go back to them in future.

Not quite the stopping power of the HPS pad, but still good and with less noise and dust.

I bought these ceramic pads specifically based on the brake dust reduction claim. I was horribly disappointed. These pads produce dark brown dust MUCH MORE than the stock pads. They squeal VERY loudly, too. I might be able to fix/reduce the squeal, but I cannot do anything about the dust. This is with quality Brembo rotors, which I installed at the same time as the pads.
Complete waste of money!!
