February 20, 2012 Fresh pads are almost always good, or at least better than the old ones they replaced, however, these pads are making the OEM pads look really bad. They were quiet from the start, have yet to hear a single squeek, and after the first few miles, have been absolutely silent under braking. Response, stopping power and fade are all far superior to OE, with the sense of not being able to stop virtually gone, which was my only real complaint about the vehicle since I bought it. If I would have thought that a set of pads could have made such a dramatic difference, I would have replaced them within the first month of ownership! |

February 20, 2012 Very loud squeak when I first tried them out. I thought I installed them wrong but they stop making noise when they get warmed up. I drove in Toronto weather where it can get cold and snowy. I have put on about 4000 kilometers and they still squeak when brakes are cold but make no noise after 5 minutes. For the price they are a great option to oem pads. |

December 31, 2011 I was really concerned about brake noise and this set up is very quiet. The Centric rotors are impressive to look at and appear to be a high quality part. Everything fit perfectly. Brake dust seems to be less than OEM. Stopping power is as good or better then stock. |
