After 135,000 miles and numerous pad and rotor replacements, my factory calipers were hanging up no matter how much I tried to clean them up and lubricate them. For the price of the Centric calipers, I figured I d be crazy to re-build my factory calipers myself and possibly see no improvement.
The Centric Premium rotors seem to be high quality. They bedded in very smoothly and braking has been smooth and quite ever since. The pads that come with the loaded calipers are also surprisingly good. I was expecting to have to upgrade to a performance pad like Hawk to improve braking, but the Centric pads have been working perfectly. The re-built rotors are also very nice, with a shiny coating that looks infinitely better than my 9 year old rusty factory calipers.
Everything fit perfectly, and install was uneventful.
