October 22, 2011 I replaced my stock Mustang Brembro package pads for DTC-70 up front and DTC-60 in rear. I m running Nitto NT-05 at HPDEs and that s BARELY enough tire for these pads. With very little pedal pressure I m slammed into the belts and the ABS is kicking in. I put these pads on when I arrived at the track, but late Sunday I was in no mood do I drove 300 miles home with them (highway). The only issue on the street was the mileage. They drag a bit cost about 4mpg on highway. |

March 24, 2011 I prefer the Pagid Blue or Yellow Race pads to these pads for feel, modulation and release feel. If you leave the brake dust on your wheels for any significant time, it destroys the finish. Everything is a compromise; the downside to the Pagid pads are that they squeak/scream terribly on the street, these Hawks are relatively quiet on the street so you don t absolutely have to change pads going from track to street. Remember however, that the brake dust from these pads EATS your wheels. |

June 27, 2009 A very aggressive set of pads, not meant for the casual HPDE driver. They generate a lot of heat. As long as the driver is aware of this, these pads are fine. The initial grip and stopping power of these pads are not as good as my previous track pads, but they are no longer available. Unless I find a better track pad, I will continue to use these. |
