Great initial grab, very responsive to changes in pedal pressure, extremely fade resistant. I brake aggressively and these pads and rotors don t let me down. I put the pads on another of the family s vehicles with the same results. |

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful: March 02, 2013 Recently have had some brake shudder, but it s been a year since rotors/pads were installed. Brakes were bed-in according to StopTech website. Braking performance was great before the shudder and still very good currently. I especially notice the difference in pedal feel and brake response after driving a stock set-up in other Jettas. As for the brakes they ve been low on dust and quiet which was somewhat a surprise. Great heat resistance too, even during trips to the mountains in western NC. I do notice the rotors get rust very quickly after rain and a lot of it compared to the stock rotors, but it s gone after a few stops, which is why I gave an 8 for appearance. Great for street. I can t say about AutoX, as these would bump the car up a class, so this car isn t currently used in AutoX events. |
