Recently have had some brake shudder, but it s been a year since rotors/pads were installed. Brakes were bed-in according to StopTech website. Braking performance was great before the shudder and still very good currently. I especially notice the difference in pedal feel and brake response after driving a stock set-up in other Jettas. As for the brakes they ve been low on dust and quiet which was somewhat a surprise. Great heat resistance too, even during trips to the mountains in western NC. I do notice the rotors get rust very quickly after rain and a lot of it compared to the stock rotors, but it s gone after a few stops, which is why I gave an 8 for appearance. Great for street. I can t say about AutoX, as these would bump the car up a class, so this car isn t currently used in AutoX events.

Big difference in stopping an corner breaking. Dust reduction is amazing compared to the stock brakes.. The rotor s look great but serve no real purpose for street performance, however for autocross there great!

Stoptech performance street pads - great bite, noticeable difference in braking power even with them being on the rears.
Centric plain 120 series rotor - great rotors, have bought many sets of these for all my vehicles. The black rotor hat eliminates nasty rusty look. Cosmetically they are great and performance they are great.
