AEM pioneered the Cold Air Intake System for sport compact cars in 1995. They are dyno-tuned to length and diameter creating maximum horsepower and torque over any other system of its kind.

AEM Cold Air Intake Systems feature an individually tuned inlet pipe and a filter relocated outside of the engine compartment for a cooler intake charge. On systems that have long inlets or when the bracket carries an unusual amount of stress, AEM incorporates a load distribution flange (plinth) that spreads the load across the surface of the intake pipe instead of directly on the bracket welds that could cause failure. AEM also TIG welds all of the brackets and fittings for durability. Every AEM Cold Air Intake System is guaranteed for the life of your vehicle.

Soft Mounts Flex With Your Engine (So Your Bracket Doesn't)

In addition to guaranteeing a perfect fit, AEM soft mounts, included with every AEM air intake system, provide a flexible pivot point for the intake where it mounts to the chassis to prevent added stress on the mounting bracket, which could cause it to break.

Many AEM Intake Systems are street legal in all 50 states and include a California Air Resource Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number that ensures the kit has been tested to comply with emissions standards. EO numbers apply to the kit as well as the year, make and model it is being installed on.

Systems with no EO number are street legal in most states but may not be used on emissions controlled vehicles in the state of California.
