AEM Brute Force Air Intake Systems are designed for popular trucks, SUVs and muscle cars. They are dyno-tested to create more torque and horsepower in large displacement engines. The pipes are routed so that the filter draws air from the safest and coolest location, and provides a steel powder-coated heat shield to shroud the filter from engine heat and road dirt. AEM Cold Air Intake Systems feature an individually tuned inlet pipe and a filter relocated outside of the engine compartment for a cooler intake charge. On systems that have long inlets or when the bracket carries an unusual amount of stress, AEM incorporates a load distribution flange (plinth) that spreads the load across the surface of the intake pipe instead of directly on the bracket welds that could cause failure. AEM also TIG welds all of the brackets and fittings for durability. Also available for this system: Air Bypass Valve.

In most cases, AEM offers its Short Ram intake systems as an economical alternative to a Cold Air Intake System or to drivers who are concerned about hydrolock. However, during the development process, AEM found certain applications responded favorably to shorter inlet lengths over a longer Cold Air Intake System. So, for some vehicles, AEM recommends the Short Ram system only, since it would be the best performing air intake system for that application.

The AEM V2 Air Intake System utilizes a dual chamber design that creates more power under the curve than any other intake system on the market. Sound waves help charge the cylinders with more air throughout the entire rpm range, even outperforming AEM's Cold Air Intake Systems.

AEM Workhorse HD Diesel Intake Systems with a massive DRYFLOW air filter (included) are designed for popular late-model Cummins, Duramax, and PowerStroke diesel engines as well as Heavy-Duty Big-Block trucks. The Workhorse re-usable DRYFLOW filter features over twice the surface area of filter media and utilizes deep pleats to improve dust-holding capacity and increase the intervals between cleanings. It delivers maximum flow, filtration and durability for heavy-duty applications.
