installed the eibach pro kit and the KYB agx adjustable I bought at Tirerack. I dont know if the springs and shocks where a bad set up or they just don t know, the Vr6 is a heavy motor. the front kept hitting hard to the ground and the back on the most soft setting felt like the back was falling apart. then I installed street line coil overs and it stopped the front from hitting but the back still feels really hard in the city. I think after experiencing 3 suspensions (the other on my 2.0 jetta) I would say go with HR racing springs and Bilsteins Sport racing struts or Bilstein coil overs. dont waste as much money as I have.

well balanced setup for street driving, highway commuting, and sporting drives in the county. Soaks up bumps well, does NOT bounce when hitting dips, and still manages to maintain a comfortable ride. The ride is much firmer than stock and there is some extra vibration transmitted into the chassis and rear view mirror. This makes the ride "busier" but my wife actually likes the feeling better than the stock suspension. Cornering is much better than stock. No drama in any sort of transition, very predictable. A worthwhile and inexpensive upgrade.

Koni FSD dampers, Eibach Pro Springs, and Eibach rear alignment kit were all purchased from Tirerack. Additional suspension/stability mods on the car are stiffened rear motor mount and adjustable rear anti-roll bar. I was not concerned about lowering height, but the very mild drop is pleasant and subtle. The suspension now exceeds the limits of the tires on the car by a wide margin (Conti DWS). The ride is now quite firm and the rear is now more active (attributed to sway bar mostly). The rear alignment was set back to stock settings. This was purchased as a replacement for stock suspension with 80K+ miles on it. Handling is much improved, but for me it is a significant trade-off vs. ride comfort. Do not expect the comfort of a VW GTI with this setup. Torque steer is very mild since the motor is an aggressively-tuned stock turbo plus bolt-ons. I would recommend this as a performance upgrade to replace the stock suspension if ride comfort sacrifice is required to a lesser extent. Most importantly, it is still an acceptable daily driver for me. It is more comfortable than a 2006 Porsche Cayman S, for instance.
