While I only have approx. 1,200 miles on the car since the KYB strut/shock replacement (91,000 miles on the OEM) I feel a distinct improvement in the handling and ride of the car. In conjunction with the strut/shock replacement I also put four new General Altimax tires on the car (replacing the Kumhos with approx 30,000 miles). The car feels like a brand new vehicle. It''s a pleasure to drive and I now often drive without the radio on just to enjoy the sound and feel of the car on the road. I installed a new set of KYB GR-2s about two weeks ago. Firstly I was surprised how well they absorb the bumps and pot holes in the road. Secondly they have improved handling substantially. I find it difficult to understand how shocks can both be firm enough to improve handling and soft enough to absorb back road pot holes but, these shocks do it - very well. I have noticed a big difference in vehicle roll on corners, it simply isn''t there anymore. A huge improvement over stock OEM shocks. I would not hesitate recommending them and I''m sure impressed with their cross abilities. -- Review submitted: 2009-09-21
