My truck was truck was shaking a whole lot whenever I would hit little bumps and would roll a lot into corners. First, I had replaced the front shocks with these. Big improvment. There was no nose dive whatsoever. I would corner even faster. About a month later, I changed my rear and that made the truck ride like a brand new truck. My truck has 20 inch rims and it rides better than stock. With the 275 55 20, i could corner quicker and with these monomax, i have little to no body role. At first when the shocks were first installed, they were very very stiff. But after a couple weeks of driving, they soften up but still do a great job at dampening the ride. I will always be a proud owner of a truck with kyb monomax shocks on it. New shocks make suck a big difference. I am nearly 300 pounds, 6 4, and when i stood in the bed of my truck, i use to be able to bounce the truck and shake it side to side. Now that is impossible to do with the KYB monomax. All in all, great investment to enhance your ride. And lastly, when going over a rough road, the wheels do not hop anymore. They stay settle and planted.

Replaced what appeared to be the stock shock units on my Frontier. The KYB s made a huge difference, but considering that the truck really needed shocks bad, I m guessing anything would be an improvement. Overall, the shocks took the Baltimore city pot holes pretty well and provided a smooth ride on the highway. If I had to complain, I would say they were a little too soft. Jumping in the bed of the truck, the rear suspension moved more then I thought it should, but that could just be me being more used to a full size truck versus the Frontier. I would be interested to feel a comparison between the KYB and a set of Bilstien s.

Great Shock! I replaced my Biltsteins with these MonoMax, they were a little stiff at 1st, but once they''re broken in look out. No more body roll,no more rear end kicking around when you hit a bump, no more hop when pulling out, no more tires spinning when pulling out on a turn on a grade! I like them a lot!
