I have a 05ST & replaced my FRPP;s springs & dampers w/ Eibach s Sportline system kit. I also have Eibach s sway bar kit. I m very inpressed w/ the performance of this kit. I was looking at coilovers at first & then decided to go w/ Eibach s fixed platform instead. Trevor really helped me out. Felixthecat. -- Review submitted: 2012-06-17

My objective was to achieve a more comfortable ride quality while maintaining or increasing handling in my 2009 BMW 128i with sport package. I first installed a BMW aluminum strut brace and noticed an incremental enhancement in cornering dynamics. After extensive research, I decided to install Koni FSD dampers along with Eibach anti-roll bars while keeping the BMW sport package springs since Koni recommends stock springs with it s FSD dampers.
After installing the Koni/Eibach set up (12 hrs), the BMW technician commented that the car was extremely smooth on the highway, and in his opinion had more responsive steering along with no body lean while making a quick lane change. He does track his 3 series by the way so his opinion does carry some weight. In fact, he said the suspension was such that the tire s traction would give out long before the suspension ever would in the event of extreme handling maneuvers.
I was of course eager to drive the car and must confess that my initial impressions are limited to a test drive which included backing up and departing the dealership, a 3 mile average condition curvy road, (5) 90 right hand turns, and a quick passing maneuver around a slow driving retiree before I had to park the car and leave on a business trip.
My initial impressions are:
1. The car s steering is more balanced and responsive and the steering wheel is slightly easier to turn in parking lots.
2. The overall ride quality is smoother and more comfortable on smooth surfaces as well as bumps with less vibration in the steering wheel.
2. Handling on turns has been significantly improved with respect to body lean.
I was quite satisfied with the above improvements and my car felt more "connected" and engaging in my driving experience than did the 2012 BMW 3 series that I had as a loaner. My car feels more "buttoned down." -- Review submitted: 2012-05-25

From Eibach Pro Damper to Koni Street.t, same result... Good ride for 6 months and then the ride starts to deteriorate to riding on the springs at the end with no more than 12000 miles (ridiculuous).
What s next? Maybe I ll try the Bilstein HD. I already tried Tokico, AGX, KYG...
I learned my lesson, on my next car I won t mess with the suspension. -- Review submitted: 2012-04-18

Improved on the original handling and suspension greatly (which was already fantastic, just too plush in OEM form). I would also recommend (for the entire E34 chassis class) the 750i front strut rods (bushings installed - OEM parts) with this setup - gives MUCH greater front end rigidity. Car rides fantastic, and the handling will surprise you - even in this hi performance chassis. I also added BMW accessories catalog 17x8" 6 spoke wheels and Pirelli SS tires, and slotted rotors with EBC brake pads and hi-temp fluid. Make sure to check your mirrors before you hit the brakes with this combo - stops like a roller coaster at the station. -- Review submitted: 2012-04-07

I replaced my FRPP s spring s/strut s/shock s w/ Eibach s Sportline system, for better handling & 2" lower, & it handle s great= like on rail s. Eibach s anti-sway bar kit is a awesome set-up too=F 22mm/R 25mm bar s! The ride is pretty good for the awesome handling you get! I highly recommend this kit w/ the Damper s, can t beat the price & quality. No scrapping issue s or tire rubbing, & I have 17 s! -- Review submitted: 2011-10-13

I had an Eibach Prokit on my Passat and it still was very comfortable. Now with the sport kit on my Audi, responsiveness is great and the lowering looks awesome, both front and rear tires are under 1" from the fender.
The anti roll kit improves cornering performance dramatically compared to springs only. The car does not touch the ground more often (e.g. On ramps or speed bumps) as it does with the OEM suspension due to the firm springs. On bad roads you get some more noise and vibration in the car, but That s a trade-off I take.
I had cars lowered with cheaper brands, but never again, they looked good, but the drive was disappointing. For me, either Eibach, H&R or other top shelf brands. Lowering is not (only) about the looks but also for handling. These spring take care of that. Some people might prefer a more comfortable ride, close to the OEM. In that case I would recommend the Pro kit. -- Review submitted: 2011-09-22

The car that the suspension components are on is a track only car.
- The drop in height was not as expected, to the point that the back was about 1" higher than the front. Most likely the reason for the false height is that H&R s height expectations are based on a street car and not a stripped out track car.
- While the springs are stiff when static, there is a considerable amount of body roll when on track. These spring are labeled wrong and are not "Race Springs" as they are far too light for the weight of a front engine car on the track
- The Koni s seam ok, however, in order to adjust them, they have to be removed from the car.
- I find that between the H&R Race Springs and the Eibach antiroll bars that the car pitches and rolls far more than a track car should.
Overall, I would not recommend purchasing these components if you plan on taking your car anywhere near a track. -- Review submitted: 2011-09-21

I wanted to improve the cornering and slightly lower the vehicle to make it look sporty. The OEM was completely shot and the Eibach has been exceptional. It is firm and very responsive. It corners flat and is in control at all times. The ride is a tiny bit harsher but well worth it. The only hitch on a VW is getting the front swaybar out. You have to lower the sub frame which is four bolts and loosen the steering gear. It would be easy now that I know how to do it. I would definitely recommend it if you want to add some new life to an older car. -- Review submitted: 2011-03-27

Installed Mazdaspeed springs two years ago, there made by Eibach I believe they are the same as the pro-kit spring set. Lowered the car and improved the handling. I was happy with this upgrade.
Installed rear bar last week and the front Eibach anti-roll kit yesterday. The rear made some changes but not as much as the front which has changed my handling a lot. I have read the reviews on this product for a long time on miata.net and finally decided to do the install. What I can t answer was why I didn t do this before. I have only put ~150 miles on the car after the front instal (took for a drive last night,) but it was shocking how well I liked them. Just pulling the car out of the garage and pulling up to the fist stop sign I could tell how more responsive my steering is now. On my NC Mx-5 the steering was already very sharp I didn t know it would/could get this much better. Last nights drive was on a road I have only driven once before and being dark I didn t push it as hard as I could just wishing that the visibility was better the new bars wanted to be tested :-). So far I can t say enough about the change.
If I change my mind I will update my review of this product. ---- Only downside is that the bushings are a little bigger than the original so as recommended I had to trim them to fit properly.
Springs-helped with body roll, lowered my car a little, better handling, little bit stiffer ride. Recommend
Sway bars-better steering response, a lot less body roll, little stiffer ride. Recommend, will never own a car with stock sway bars again. Wow, just wow, what a difference. -- Review submitted: 2011-03-22

Installed the Eibach Pro-Kit springs along with the Eibach Sway Bar set in January. Initial lowering wasn''t up to my personal standards (thought about getting the Sportline), but after the car racked up a few hundered miles, the stance settled in perfect. Car feels like its on rails, particularly due to the setting on the sway bars (track setting). Car lost vitually all the dip/dive it had on stock set up. Ride quality is stiff, but not unbearable (attributed to the 45-series Bridgestone Potenzas). This is also my second vehicle with this setup (2007 Ford Fusion with Eibach Pro-Kit). Just purchased a 2nd Genesis Coupe 3.8 and will install the exact setup this week. Great product and highly recommend to anyone who wants a more aggressive ride. As for the gentleman who rated the kit a 4 on his Porsche 911, the undrivable result more than likely is not due to the springs. It''s due to the combination of the spring rate, OEM sway bar stiffness, and the OEM shock rate. The 911 will not respond well without upgrading the sway bars to compensate for the increased spring rate. This is due to the rear-engine, rear-drive setup of the car. I own a 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera that I use for auto-crossing. All 911 owners should know that its handling characteristics are different from most sports cars today. I have a Koni/H&R shock/spring setup with RUF-tuned sway bars. Once the bars were installed, the off-throttle oversteer was nearly gone, as well as the on-throttle understeer. -- Review submitted: 2010-03-07

I loved my Jetta from the get go, but after I slammed it on it''s nuts and put stiffer sway bars on it, it felt like a whole new ride. It could keep up with a lot on the twisty roads to begin with, after these mods there was no catching me. It was great, I highly recommend this product to anyone. It''s a fairly inexpensive kit, and quality was unmatched. -- Review submitted: 2010-02-26

If you have a CIVIC 2001-2005 other than the EX version you MUST purchase a sway bar adapter kit for rear. For my VP model I needed to purchase endlinks as well for both front and rear. I used Moog an I am satisfied with the results. Don''t forget bolts as neither kit comes with the bolts for the bushing brackets (I got mine from the local Honda dealer) A lot of hassle for this type of a model (Civic VP) because it doesn''t come from factory with the sway bars nor any pre-preparation on the chasis. Still a good purchase. I can feel the difference when I get curves: the car doesn''t lean and I can take the curves at higher speed without body roll. Over bumpers or potholes it''s the same as without the sway bar: still harsh as Civics have not been designed for maximum comfort :( -- Review submitted: 2009-10-06

Had these installed by my mechanic about two weeks ago to cut down on body roll. They have improved the handling in that respect significantly and seemed to cut down the torque steer as well but I have two complaints. They were expensive to install, at least on my Jetta, taking about 5 hours labor time and then the alignment could not be put within factory specs. This may be from the lower springs, not sure, but the camber, after adjusting as far as it will go, is still out about a degree. (Eibach apparently doesn''t make an adjustment kit for this model car and the ad says "no other parts needed.")
Even worse, the rear end now creaks over speed bumps, RR tracks and anything that causes the tail to lift. Mechanic says it''s likely the bushings that came with the kit. I like the handling improvement and can live with the cost but the noise and potential tire wear is an aggravation. -- Review submitted: 2009-04-17

Installed the Anti-roll kit and couldn''t be more pleased. These eliminate a great portion of body roll in hard cornering situations. I autocross my car and can say these helped out a lot in keeping the car flat though turns. This kit is also priced to sell. These are great dampers for the money. My biggest complaint is of no fault to design, as I wish there was compression adjustment. You can use these for track or daily driving purposes. Ok ... I originally had the pro-kit installed on my spec-v with koni adjustables!...And the car was a dream! But the moment I wanted a lower stance and better handle!..I chose the sportlines! In the begining it was great but as time and mileage went by the sportlines blew my konis and I installed kyb gr-2 s...The ride is uncomfortable...The moment the car oversees the slight crack on the road..it''s bumpy. I cannot have passengers in the backseat or the car bottoms out and bounced eveywhere(obviously sentras are 4dr)like others have said...the driver is always on a look out for any holes! I must admit the handleing is greatly improved and but the sacrifice of ride quality is great!i reinstalled my pro-kit and am happy! I do not reccommend these springs for daily driving if u live in a holey area...only on track days these springs are awesome! -- Review submitted: 2009-02-02

I added the Eibach Anti-Roll Kit to my 2007 Escalade months after I had already added the springs, and did not think the bars would have much impact on the handling and stability. I was completely wrong! The Anti-Roll Kit is absolutely worth it, and is required for this truck as it added a significant stability to cornering, off-ramps, and general stability for normal highway driving. I highly recommend this product for people who have the Eibach spring kit, but still think their truck is too unstable and jumpy on the highway and off-ramps. -- Review submitted: 2008-07-12

First let me qualify my rationale of the number of points I chose on the ten scale provided. I don t give 10 s. So in turn 9 is outstanding. I bought the Eibach Anti-Roll Kit for my "SUV" GMC-Denali because I felt the truck was too top heavy feeling in turns and the more miles I put on the truck the more it felt like it was rolling left and right. I understand it is not a sportscar but I prefer a more stable ride. I live in an area where the local highway is very curvy. My other car is a Porsche Carrera and I am very comfortable operating a vehicle that can stand up to the rigors associated with my driving style. Well let s get down to the sway bars. I took the ordered anti-roll kit to my dealer and the job was done in 1 hour 10 minutes, front and rear. All the parts necessary were in the box and there was no confusion or disappointment. My appreciation goes out to Tirerack & Eibach for "not" disappointing me. The technician advised the front bar was a bit of a challenge but no big deal. No wheel alignment necessary! They charged me 1.2 hours for the front and 1.2 hours for rear. I drove 70 miles back home on my curvy route with no radio on and didn t experience any odd noises or feel. The straight line drive was not affected at all. The curves and turns were more flat and controlled. The difference was very factory like. There was no harsh or extreme difference at all. The difference in body roll was decreased by approx. 50% with absolutely no discomfort associated. Like most, I use my SUV 99% on road, so I do not have any off road information to share. I could not be more pleased that in taking on this porject I did not ruin my trucks ride in the name of enhancing it s performance. If I had to do it all over again I would without hesitation. I would also recommend it to anyone whose heart is into performance driving but also owns a SUV. This was just what my truck needed and GMC opted not to give it. Tire Rack thanks again. The lowering springs are great along with the anti-roll kit. The pro damper kit is a must, if not the ride is very rough. I purchaed the damper last, haven t installed it yet. I m excited to see how much less the rough ride without the damper kit. -- Review submitted: 2008-01-15

I have been riding on this suspension for the last 44 THOUSAND miles! and it still performs asgood as the day I put it on. The springs and struts were a snap to put on only took about 2 and a half hours. But the front anti-roll bar was a b**ch!! It took 2 hours by it self and was just short of dropping the engine out of the car! It was well worth it and handling for a daily driver is second to none. Handling comfort is a perfect balance. The cornering is so stiff that in a hard corner on the brakes it lifts the inside rear tire. That makes for a really sweet pic! -- Review submitted: 2007-11-19

Love the lowered stance, dropped 1.5 inches. More importantly, my 911 now feels and handles like a true sports car. No more soft, floaty ride; scary and dangerous on Angeles Crest runs. Properly corner balanced with a little negative camber, the car feels dialed in and much more confidence inspiring. Can t wait to attack the 9 turns at Willow Springs this weekend! -- Review submitted: 2007-10-30

Installed shocks and axle dampers in rear. Front gr2 struts and Eibach pro kit springs and Eibach anti roll kit. Mustang has 330hp at the wheels, and launches are easier to control. Squat has been reduced as well as nose dives. At high speeds the car comes to life, i can actually accelerate earlier in a turn. This was a great enhancement on a great car. If you are going to do anything to suspension do all components, springs and shocks together. -- Review submitted: 2007-09-29

this product should be marketed as as a track only unit, in combo with the tein coil over shocks, the car handles like a track car, to stiff for the street, the smallest street joints make you launch out of your seat., my wife likes that the car dose not roll at every turn, it is still a little rough for every day. and as for my self, after seven back surgeries, I do not think I will be a passenger in tis car much. I think these reviews should be made be made public, before purchase, just to be fair. thank you, victor -- Review submitted: 2007-09-26

Installed the Eibach Suspension kit, coupled with the AGX struts. Vehicle is used to autocross and road race. The suspension drop although fairly insignificant, allows for tighter control. The AGX struts brought the rest of the vehicle in line. By adjusting the rear a little higher than the fron, and reducing rear air pressure 3 psi in comparision to the front, equated into a very stable understeer. Ride is firm and tight, with excellent steering response. Bumps on the road??? Who cares, you don t do this to have a soft, squishy ride..get on the gas and let er drift. -- Review submitted: 2007-09-19

Living in the pothole ridden northeast, I needed something better than stock that would also give enough clearance for snow. These did the trick. Had springs and shocks installed @ Engines by Benz in E.Prov. before sway bars and braces; squat and roll immediatly became manageable. Actually had to relearn the tires new break-away limits (BFG TA s never SEEMED to rool much before). Also agree with other customers observasions about rear drop; but driving old VW s for so long, one expects front outside lift anyway. Just lift off the gas or tap the brakes, and the nose heavy German pig just rotates slightly and you just hustle back through your line. Scrub the front end of a light weight Civic, and you re reving to play catch up after you catch it. I ve picked at least 5-10mph on the Pawtucket S-Curves: The price of upgrades is worth the looks on the faces of Bimmer and Honda drivers... -- Review submitted: 2007-09-02

I was a touch concerned about how the eibach suspension would look on my new beetle after reading that on a jetta the back sat lower then the front, but that wasn t the case. On the new beetle the front sets a touch lower but it was that way stock. Just more noticable once lowered with these springs. Overall it looks great. Really cleaned up the wheelwells that had just too much space for a sport look. The performance is incredible. The car was never bad unless you really tried to hammer a corner. It s at the deep point in the corner that the car dips and leans. Now it stays almost level. You have to push it right to the limit to get any lean out of the suspension. I m guessing this is due to the new front AND rear anti-roll bars. The coils and shocks are not too tight. I was also afraid the ride quality would drop and I would hear my wife complain about it but you can barely tell the difference over stock. The progressive coils really help make this possible. Now I have a new beetle with custom lights, tires and a sport looking ride. If you want to drastically improve the abilities without giving up a grocery story runner then the eibach-pro kit is a great way to go. -- Review submitted: 2007-06-03

A friend and myself installed the Pro System Plus on April 8, 2007 in my 2007 Cobra Jet Mustang. I couldn t believe the difference it made. The way it handles now on corners doing 120 mph, WOW no leaning or swaying. I was expecting to lose a little ride qaulity but there really wasn t. I am very impressed and statisfied with this kit. Anyone one with an 05,06 or 07 Mustang GT should have this system installed just like the fellow below me mentioned. You definately won t regret it. I get more compliments on the way the car looks then anything else, how it sits the color and of course the speed. First I put the Eibach pro kit on, and the ride was smoother than stock, but when you turn in theres less sway than with the stock springs. I was happy with that for about a year, then I installed the Eibach anti-roll kit. That made a big difference in cornering speed, I have this off ramp that I take sometimes at high speed, 110+ its on rails. Then I installed Koni FSD damper set, the first 3 or 4 weeks it was a little stiff until they broke-in. Now it rides better than ever, what can I say, my mazda3 is hooked-up! Thanks Tire Rack and Iam happy with your customer service, when I got my Konis, they where packaged wrong from the factory, and you resolved the problem, quick! Thanks again. -- Review submitted: 2007-02-20

H&R coil over kit, eibach antiroll bars, SSR Competition wheels with 265/35/18 tires. These combinations will make the M3 handle very nice. Most understeer is gone with stiffer rear antiroll bar and equal size tires front and rear. There is one setback, however, must watch for ground clearance religiously or you will scrape everything. Must also keep a look out for potholes, will damage wheels or scrape bumper! Ride is tight but feeeels gooood! -- Review submitted: 2006-09-06

Wow, I love this kit. Car is so solid and stable, handling is awesome. It really stiffened up the suspension and I like the feel. Also makes the car look great. Just be careful going over speed bumps and going up steep ramps, you ll probably drag your car bottom. Try taking them at an angle. Also use the standard nut and bolt alignment kit, stay away from other much more expensive alignment kits, such as the Steeda one, not worth the money, and the camber adjusters were stamped wrong, causing a huge headache at the alignment shop. -- Review submitted: 2006-06-06

Just had the Pro System Plus installed March 3, 2006 in my 2005 Mustang GT Convertible. What a difference it makes, the handling and cornering is much improved. The ride qaulity is a little stiffer but that is expected. The ride heith looks much better. I have 18 x 9 Bullit wheels with BFG KDW 2 s, looks great, handles great. Ford should definitely make this system as part of their suspension package. Anyone one with an 05 or 06 Mustang GT should have this system installed. You won t regret it..

The springs and anti-roll kit definitely improved handling. The ride is a bit stiffer, but not extremely so. I prefer the stiffer ride over the stock ride quality. My only oomplaint is that the front springs lowered slightly unevenly. The front right is about 1.0 cm higher than the rest of the car. It s not very noticable, but considering the springs are supposed to lower by only 1", the difference is substantial. Also, I needed to buy an alignment kit, even though it says that one isn t required.
Overall- much improved performance, good ride quality, and looks better (if you ignore the slight uneven lowering in front). -- Review submitted: 2005-12-02

If the roads were better i would ve lowered the car 2in. I had to settle for 1.5in. Roll is practically eliminated. Jerkiness has been reduced when I change gears. Jetta s and Gti s (VR6) oil pan sits really low. If you lower any 2 of these cars UPGRADE the STRUTS and SHOCKS. car doesnt roll when im doing high speed lane changing(very important). I m completely satisfied with my suspension upgrade. All i need now is bigger wheels i.e. 18". -- Review submitted: 2005-09-28

After I purchased the eibach anti-roll kit for my 2002 Civic, the handling was dramatically increased. I can make corners rated at 15mph around 70mph. Combined with my bigger wheels, and performance tires, this was probably the best upgrade I ve done performance-wise to my vehicle. I m sure after my vehicle is lowered and I purchase new struts, the anti-roll kit will definitely top things off, bringing the best handling performance to my vehicle. -- Review submitted: 2005-08-26

I highly suggest that if you install the Eibach Pro-Kit springs on your vehicle, then you should definitely consider completing them with the Eibach Pro-Damper Kit and the Eibach Anti-Roll Kit. Take it from my own experience, your vehicle responses, corners, and handles so much better with those aftermarket parts installed. Depending on where you live, you may want the Eibach Pro-Kit rather than the Eibach Sportline. Your ride looks very sharp, very appealing, and very sweet. The Eibach Pro-Damper absorbs shocks a lot better than your stocks. The Eibach Anti-Roll Kit totally eliminates body roll and excessive swaying when cornering. Your investment is your personal choice. So why not choose the sure thing: Eibach. It s the will to win! -- Review submitted: 2005-02-25

Along with the Pro-System Plus, I also installed urethane control arm bushings. Handling is great, much improved over stock. Body roll is nearly eliminated. The only thing that I can think of that would make this setup better is a lower ride height. -- Review submitted: 2004-11-25

Rear sits higher then front. Too raked for my liking. Front end has a metal sound from strut. Many others on VWvortex have complained about this. Rumour has it putting a rubber sleeve around the top and bottom coils will correct it.

No installation or subsequent problems. I believe the improvement in handling/stability/safety is worth the considerable sacrifice in ride quality. I intend to try aftermarket shocks to see if ride quality can improve. -- Review submitted: 2003-04-19

Car used to handle very sloppy on the street and on the strip. I wanted better handling on street/road course. I installed the complete Eibach kit with swaybars shocks, springs, struts... Car hugs the corners exceptionally well with no body roll at all. The only thing keeping me from really screaming around corners is better tires. -- Review submitted: 2003-03-21

The Eibach Pro-Kit dropped the back roughly 1" but only .5" on the fronts for some reason. The discrepancy could not be rationalized by either Eibach or the performance shop I took my car to (supposed to be a 1" drop all around for the IS300 application). However, the car no longer has the "lifted" look and looks how it SHOULD look from the factory (i.e.- does not look "lowered" but does not have the 4x4 look either). Overall, I have no regrets on the Pro-Kit. It was just what I was looking for.
I also installed the Eibach Anti-Roll kit. The roll has been dramatically reduced. However, I do wish the front bar was a bit stiffer to further reduce roll (still a bit left when making aggressive turns). The ability to adjust the rear sway bar has been great in adjusting over/understeer though. -- Review submitted: 2003-02-24

Shocks: Bilstien Sports; Eibach Stress Bar: sharpened turn-in and added stability and stiffness to the frount end; Ground Control Rear Shock
Mounts, installed 30 miles ago, street setting, (Convertable mounts lasted ~70K miles)much more controlled feeling in the rear with some increase in harshness the shocks are working more effectively, better forward thrust or bite? E30 M3 Frount control arm mounts, not noticeabe in straight driving but improved turn-in and stability in turns;BBS RV 15x7 w/ Bridgestone S-03s 225/50x15, boy are those wheel wells filled up. With only 300 miles so far there is much new ground to discover, very responsive and stable, more road feel/harshness than the Dunlop SP Sport A-2 205/60Hx14 all seasons. The limits of these new Bridgstonesmay not be reached on the street without serious social or criminal consequences. The next drivers school looks to be interesting. After several years the car is coming together, the focus is sharpening with its various trade offs. Maybe H&R Coil Overs and camber plates next? We''''''''re having some big fun. hsa -- Review submitted: 2002-07-11

The changes to the suspension by adding the Eibach progressive springs and more agressive shocks was very impressive. It took an average sports sedan and turned it into a true performance car. I would recommend this upgrade to anyone who enjoys a spirited drive in their sports sedan. -- Review submitted: 2002-05-26
