Eibach did a commendable job of engineering a taught street package that takes advantage of a strong Ford platform and upgrades several dimensions of capability, feel and confidence. SPC camber discs introduced strut shaft knocking that is minimized with the addition of very small amount of oil/lube to cushion the mini-spaces between the discs. The SBC factory never heard of the problem before. They suggest that something else is loose. Nope. I did it myself. Ya get used to it. -- Review submitted: 2013-06-22

So i understand i have a 2002 accord sedan, it is a 5 speed and it is what i have. I have always liked to drive spirited and used to have some tight cars years back (98 Integra type R, GTI, modded si hatchbacks)..i was looking to change this into a drivers car. I ordered and installed the Eibach anti roll bars a few months back. I could definately tell something was there, lessened roll for sure. I recently ordered the pro kit to match it up. I spent days on the reviews and went back and forth on springs, dampers, combos. The price of this kit sold me. The performance is not what i expected at all. It did lower the car 1 inch , but i will be very real here and say it rides like the stock car. It does not bounce, or feel in any way it is a performance set up. I am dissappointed as i really thougt it would have really changed the cars dymanics. It was a lot of money for not alot of gains. ***This sould have been marketed as an oem replacement with a lower stance and a slight performance gain. If i could do it over again, i would have gotten another spring and damper combo. This is MY experience with this kit, others will vary (and i see the reviews where people love them). Is it possible i got a "bum" set?? Overall, for a performance package, i expected more. And yes, i understand it is a honda accord, not a 3 series. -- Review submitted: 2013-04-13

The ride is for the most part very similar to OEM, that is; supple. While it did lower the vehicle as advertised, nothing about the handling feels firmed up from stock. Although they re claimed to be progressive they sure don t feel like it. $1000 down the drain (parts and labor). If you have a 4-MO just spend the extra bucks and get a coil-over set-up (see VW Vortex for the product I should have purchased...)Yes, I m disappointed. -- Review submitted: 2013-02-06

It was really easy to do. But i work in a bodyshop so if you have the right tools and knowledge installation is really easy. It took me about 4 hours to do. But after you put the springs on you will need to get a front end alignment after your done. So on that note the car handleds really well and stopping power is out of this world and cornering was awsome. I had a mustang following me he was trying to stay up with me we went around a curve running about 60 we were still going but he backed off thinking we were going to lose it around the curve once we were out of the turn we were gone. If you decide to get these springs dont think about it buy them they are worth the money and your car will love you as long as you own her or him. -- Review submitted: 2012-11-05

My rear springs broke (a common problem on E83 X3s) so, I replaced all four springs with Eibachs. I have a lot of experience with H&R and Eibach. I have always found Eibach springs to be a better match with OEM shocks and struts. My X3 handled very well for an SUV. It now handles better than most cars. Every car looks better when lowered correctly. The X3 is no exception. At some point I will replace the struts with Bils HDs, but for now, this set up is awesome. Rides nice. Lowered just right. Handles great. Looks awesome. If you have a 2004, to 2010, BMW X3, get these springs. As usual, Tire Rack blows away the competiton. -- Review submitted: 2012-10-17

Takes a while for the springs to settle in. Wait a few days after the install to check the ride height for comparison to OEM. It did make the ride a bit stiffer, but the ride is still not bad. I have bottomed out a few times trying to get use to it. watch out for giant speed bumps and keep the speed down over aggressive railroad tracks. Daily driving of the car I don t notice a difference except better response in a corner.

P.s. if installing by yourself at home clear the entire weekend. -- Review submitted: 2011-11-07

I installed the Eibach Pro Kit on my 2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i and had zero problems. The install was pretty easy and everything went together with no problems at all. The car took almost 2 weeks before it finally settled in to its current ride height. The car looks great the only complaint I have it the rear end sits a little higher than I would like if it was maybe half an inch lower I would love the springs. -- Review submitted: 2011-08-22

I have installed 3 lowering kits on Mercedes. Every single time, the performance is dramatic improvement over factory springs. The ride comfort remain relatively factory level... slightly firmer, not a major change... I d say only 10% firmer. In this case of 2001 E320, holy cow! The steering is so sharp! The cornering is... what cornering? Effortless and the ride is perfect Mercedes quality ride. We are driving with General Exclaim UHP, the before and after is dramatic.

The General tire was super grabby so it put more performance strain on factory suspension and now with Eibach Pro Kit... the suspension can handle it. There is no typical sway and understeer... it is all gone! Like I mentioned before... the steering is so sharp... zero understeer in normal driving. You turn where you want to go and no more... The combination of this tire and Eibach ProKit is phenomenal.

Highly recommended all Mercedes Benz switch to Eibach ProKit if you want sport suspension. The typical layout of Mercedes unique suspension is perfect for Eibach. You get perfect combination of performance and ride comfort. -- Review submitted: 2011-08-08

04 Jetta GLS TDI and 47 MPG. Installed the Eibach kit, including springs, sway bars (F&R), Koni s new STR.T (Street) shocks. I was looking to firm it up some, lower it and still have a nice ride. Installed all new bushings and bearings in the strut/shock assemblies and front suspension control arms. I did not want to end up with a ride that was so stiff my wife didn t ride in the car. (Hey I m 53 and I now want to spend time with my wife AND I get 47+ MPG :-) I was looking for a ride simular to our stock Acura TL. I got a great ride and performance. Overall I am very please with the modifications. The Jetta is so much more predictable midway through and out of a curse, it goes where you point it, stays nice a level while doing it and with a sporty acceptable ride. When you drive with a little spirit, the modifications and components I used really inspire confidence. Glad I did it, glad I used the Eibach Pro Street springs, front and rear sway bars and the Koni STR.T shocks. All this AND I got my best price from The Tire Rack. I have now ordered a tire wheel package from The Tire Rack to go with my suspension. -- Review submitted: 2011-03-14

The TTS comes off the dealer lot with a lot of handling capabilities. The installation of the Eibach pro-kit takes it to the next level. Ride lowering, at least to the naked eye, does not seem as much as it s reported to be (1" front, 8" rear) but there is definitly a visual difference. Since this car so low to start with that s probably a good thing. Handling is now a little more sophisticated - these springs seem to take the bumps and potholes of public streets a little easier than stock while at the same time being a little less lively in the turns with apparently less compression. The effect fells like more adaptive shocks, although I am still using the stock magnetic dampered shocks. Body roll, again not bad at all for a stock TTS, has been further reduced. Overall a good improvement at a great price. -- Review submitted: 2011-02-13

These springs will ruin your car struts .I won''t buy these for a gtp springs bottom out with slightest bump. Diffently wrong springs for this car. I have replaced these spring twice with same issue. I called Tire Rack gave me some kind of excuse it was shocks. Springs will still bottom out as springs actually compress till coils touch. Don''t waist your time and effort with these springs i even contacted manufacter an they can''t understand why coils compressed all way. -- Review submitted: 2010-03-24

Installed the Eibach Suspension kit, coupled with the AGX struts. Vehicle is used to autocross and road race. The suspension drop although fairly insignificant, allows for tighter control. The AGX struts brought the rest of the vehicle in line. By adjusting the rear a little higher than the fron, and reducing rear air pressure 3 psi in comparision to the front, equated into a very stable understeer. Ride is firm and tight, with excellent steering response. Bumps on the road??? Who cares, you don t do this to have a soft, squishy ride..get on the gas and let er drift. -- Review submitted: 2007-09-19

I installed this system with the hopes of having a definate drop in the ugly factory ride height without sacrificing overall ride quality. I am pleased to say that the eibach pro kit surpassed my expectations. The drop is good and even on flat ground. I have used high quality coilover systems in the past and it doesn t compare to the ride comfort this kit provides. I also installed the eibach camber kit. Good luck without it. The only gripe i have is that i installed new OEM factory dampers with this system and found that the theads on the front strut mounts aren t on all the way due to how the part installs. So much for OEM dampers working well with the system. Maybe recommend aftermarket struts with longer threading to satisfy the bolt. All in all a great driving experience for the mature enthusiast. -- Review submitted: 2007-09-17

The ride is more stiff and cornering is 100% improved but best of all the quality is better than factory and smooth . I can still seat 5 passengers and they won t notice the difference. Top quality product. To complete my suspension i will order the Hotchings sway bars combo so my ride will be a 10(won t be more 8s on the first 3 questions above) and yes will order from you guys. The Eibach springs with the stock shocks significantly improved the handling of my 05 GTO which I expected. The ride qualify over minor ruts and bumps that don t require much suspension travel has also improved over the stock springs, the suspension response is more controlled and the front of the car no longer floats. Steering feedback has also improved. They lowered the ride height as advertised. -- Review submitted: 2007-05-07

The added spring kit and the 20"rim and tire combo made our magnum look very very good. The ride is firmed up good although the road condition is at fault here and smooth roads are very fun to drive on, but when the road gets rough from wear the ride can be a bit bumppy. Taller tire side wall is the key to smoother ride. But car looks great as it is rideing on the road. The car is a great eye catcher and we are happy w/kit. Not what I was expecting. For this model car the eibach springs and the KYB2 struts were not the way. I m now looking for a harder spring and the struts are not dampened enough. Test drive was from Long Island to Daytona and with the wrong wheels 18x8 (should be 7.5 s) all the car did with 2 small bags in the trunk was bottom out. One hit in the front we thought that was it. European and Japaniese cars you can find the right stuff, and I m into Nascar sorry Chevy you need to do some work, where you can work with coilovers or something better. So for what I spent to have them installed I m going to have to live with it for now. -- Review submitted: 2006-07-19

The car looks lower in the back than in the front, but it may just be the shape of the fenders that make it look that way. Eibach s customer service rep said that their suspensions do not settle. He said that what you get on day of install is what you will have forever. Then I talked to an Eibach fitment tech, and he admitted that they do settle in a bit. They DO settle over the first week or so. Sometimes, during that period, the car seemed lopsided or uneven from left to right. However, as the car settled, this went away. I d have been happier if the Eibach rep had just been honest from the start.

Also, the suspension kit was packed wrong from the factory. It had the right springs, but the wrong dampers. Thanks to Penny at Tire Rack, everything was fixed, at no cost to me. She is wonderful. I m not impressed, however, with Eibach s staff.

Once everything was straghtened out and the springs settled in, the car looks good and handles great. Corners are sharp and controlled. Bumps are slightly rougher than stock, but acceptible. -- Review submitted: 2006-05-28

Truely outstanding ride quality, cornering ability and firmness. Lowering the ride height gave the car a more aggressive stance. -- Review submitted: 2005-07-04

The stock X-Type Jag has horrible "rebound" and the tail of the car tends to bounce around over bumps. On a chance I thought I would install the Eibach system... Hey it couldn''t be any worse. To my surprise, the Eibach system removed the bounce and the rebound. It also improved, hell it got rid of, the "porpose" on acceleration and braking. Recommended! -- Review submitted: 2005-06-15

I hate to say this but, my Jag would beat you to death on poor roads, had a tendency to pull to the left or right depending on road grade, if you were in a turn and hit a bump, the back end would hop into the air and try to swing around on you... pitiful! After installing the Eibach Pro System... well. LIFE IS GOOD! If you own a "Baby Jag" do yourself a favor and put this package on your car... you can thank me later... probably after you wipe the smile off your face... definately the best money you will spend on a vehicle modification. PERIOD! 10+++ -- Review submitted: 2005-06-11

Great look, fills the fender gap nicely. My sport package had a 3.5 inch fender gap in front, now it is only about 1.5 inch. Firmer ride, but corners better. Less roll, less dive during braking, virtually none. A bit bouncy on rough joints, great on smooth road. Highly recommended. By the way, rear fender gap did not drop as much, which makes it look good. -- Review submitted: 2005-05-21

A bit stiffer then stock (duh) but quite acceptable, and not harsh. A Huge improvement in handling. Took a good few seconds off my autocrossing times. -- Review submitted: 2004-05-24
