I have never been so happy with any other product I''ve bought my car lowered ~~3 inches in the front and ~~1.5 in the back. the ride isn''t bumpy or rough at all. By far the best springs you can buy. Don''t hesitate! -- Review submitted: 2012-07-10

The car that the suspension components are on is a track only car.
- The drop in height was not as expected, to the point that the back was about 1" higher than the front. Most likely the reason for the false height is that H&R s height expectations are based on a street car and not a stripped out track car.
- While the springs are stiff when static, there is a considerable amount of body roll when on track. These spring are labeled wrong and are not "Race Springs" as they are far too light for the weight of a front engine car on the track
- The Koni s seam ok, however, in order to adjust them, they have to be removed from the car.
- I find that between the H&R Race Springs and the Eibach antiroll bars that the car pitches and rolls far more than a track car should.
Overall, I would not recommend purchasing these components if you plan on taking your car anywhere near a track. -- Review submitted: 2011-09-21

I purchased a used Integra with 130k miles on it that already had Skunk2 sleeved coilovers with Tokico blue struts on the front and Koni Reds on the rears. The ride on those sleeves were horrible. I still wanted a low drop and decided to go with race springs. I opted for the H&R due to there high rep. After installation, I immediately noticed a better ride quality on city streets going over dips, tar snakes, just driving on rough roads. As far harsh highway roads go, it was slightly better. I wish the drop were more low in the front as it had that "sag" look on the rear. With 195/55/15 tires, I was tucking in the rear with half inch gap up front. I wouldn''t recommend these springs for daily driving or commute purposes. These are for drivers who are willing to sacrifice comfort to gain a better setup for the weekend autocross/track days. My commute is short, therefore these springs achieved my expectations. If you want a low drop without the super stiff ride, research into Ground Control coilovers with lower spring rates (stock rates). -- Review submitted: 2010-01-22

With the H&R race springs, adjustable koni yellows, an the H&R sways the ride wasn''t really that bad, yes it was a little harsh when going over a pot holes but that''s not my fault the city is too cheap to fill them up. The focus is a really good hanlding car compaired to some others (that probley why i oversteered it into a ditch). But other than that the springs are just an awsome set. -- Review submitted: 2009-10-05

Great bang for the buck!
I have moved to coilovers since, but ran the H&R race on stock shocks for about 10,000 miles and really liked them. Great handling, almost stock ride comfort, lowered about 2" all around. -- Review submitted: 2009-02-20

I Have the H&R race spring set and new KYB Gr-2s on my R/T coupe. I have the 14" wheels still installed as well. this is the BEST spring you can put on this car!!! is it a little bouncey but w/ the 14''s the ride quality is really great. Not a kidney pounder! I just made a 200 mile road trip and they were really great! Gave the car a great look!! It does lower it more than advertised. about 2.0 front 1.75 rear not the 1.6/1.4. keeps the back high enough to pack my friends in the back and not bottom out! Watch out for pot holes!! I can still play my cd''s so it not too bad. if you ran a 40 series tire you would be in "a would of hurt", but with the 60 series 14''s ride is great! Love these H&R springs! -- Review submitted: 2008-12-29

The description says these are supposed to lower your car 1.4 inches. Rather instead these lower your car 2-2.5 inches. For anybody with a 200sx/sentra, these sit almost as low as the sportlines, and the sportlines ride like crap for these cars. THere is a maybe 20% improvement over the sportlies because the rears sit .25 higher then the sportlines.

Previously had Eibach springs on my 04 mustang cobra coupe and the look was terrible, the car sat very high in the rear with an exaggerated drop in the front causing extreme scraping issues etc. The eibachs also caused a twitchy and relatively unstable feel to handling. This prompted me to install H&R race springs as I had on the past on another mustang, great results, the car sits level and looks much better, the ride quality is vastly improved and overall handling and responsiveness is right where I want it, these springs are the right choice for an 04 Cobra coupe. -- Review submitted: 2007-10-19

Really liked the drop of the H&R springs. Made the Rado look like it should have from the factory. Handles like the small sports car it is. Ride is definatley firmer, but not to the extent that I would call "bone-jaring". Good quality product which I have come to expect from H&R. A def. must if you want to show the Vettes and Hondas what real cars should handle like around those twisties! -- Review submitted: 2007-09-15

The car corners better than anything I have ever driven. The ride is a bit harsh, but race springs and stiff shocks will do that to it. it is incredibly flat through corners and can maintain almost twice the posted speed for any corner on a twisty road. -- Review submitted: 2006-04-17

I bought this kit looking originally for the Eibach pro kit but I m very impressed with H&R now that I have them. The handling is incredable along with the look and style of my vehicle. The front was dropped about 2 inches and the rear about 1 1/2. The awful gap between the fender and the wheel is now gone. The ride is extremely stiff, for driving on the road its not bad but when it comes to speed bumps and pot holes you ve gotta go over really slow. I have an aftermarket exhaust and was scared that it would scrape more now that my car is lower to the ground but since the ride is so stiff it doesn t seem to be any worst then with the stock suspension. H&R did a great job with this kit I can t see anything being better for the price range I would definetly recomend this kit along with Tire Rack. -- Review submitted: 2005-02-21

Awesome handling - Installed Bilstein sport shocks and H&R Race springs (2.2" drop in the front and 1.8" rear). Drives like it s on rails. I didn t change the wheels (I have the M3 Lightweight wheels which are rare and I like the sleeper look). Took it for a long drive right after I had the whole thing installed and it drives incredible!! virtually no body roll and sticks to the road.
The ride is a little harsh for granny (its actually a lot smoother that I expected, the shocks definitely make the difference). I would recommend the springs as long as you are changing the shocks at the same time. -- Review submitted: 2004-12-06

The car is a 1997 ACR that I use primarily to compete in Time Trials. I have 5 class championships. The Koni s came with the car and are original equipment. The H&R race springs transformed this car -- she rotates in at turn in like a rear wheel drive car. I would rather die then give up the springs. BUT...for a half track, half street car I wouldn t recomend them unless you took the CD out of the car -- and are on a first name basis with your dentist; you re going to need new fillings if you drive this combo on the street too much. But Man, doesn it handle -- VERY little body roll and the center of gravity is lowered by about an inch to an inch and a quarter. -- Review submitted: 2004-06-23

This is a great setup for Golfs and Jettas alike. It''s fun ripping a corvette or a boxer through a corner or an on-ramp. I hit a cloverleaf ramp at 70 mph and the setup that is on my car did it''s job. I highly recommend this setup. Although a set of coil-overs would be pretty sweet too. -- Review submitted: 2003-01-18

Of coarse putting race springs and performance shocks are going to make and cars suspension not handle the bumps well. I would only recommend buying the race springs if you use the car for autocross and don''t buy them if you use your car as a daily driver, the sport springs lower the car almost as much and the ride is alot more tollerable. -- Review submitted: 2002-07-08

This is the best suspension set-up I''ve had. The third one''s a charm. I spent alot of money on the last two suspension''s and I''ve had my car for three years. If you don''t mind watching out for potholes or bumps this is the best suspension I think for street/autocross cars. The adjustable KONI SPORTS allow you to experiment with the stiffness(I keep them really stiff). H&R RACE SPRINGS are perfect for my application, they are stiff and lowered my car the perfect amount(not slammed). If a competition suspension is what you want I highly suggest checking this one out. -- Review submitted: 2002-04-29
