Good value for the money. Very happy with the setup, since the original Cup Kit went 130k before having to replace! -- Review submitted: 2013-08-12

These springs allow the front of the car to sit lower than the rear. I love this raked out look. I have bottomed out the car on steep driveways, but not speed bumps. On one occasion I was not able to go thru a car wash. Its really not a big issue. I drive a little slower over bumps now. I am very pleased with the new look and handling. The car doesn t look like a Prius anymore. I get compliments all the time on how the car looks. Of course, new tires and wheels (Drag DR9 16 x 7 wheels) with the drop make the car look very sporty. I can take turns much more aggressively without body lean. If you want a mild drop with better handling, then H&R springs are for you. I paid a local garage $300 to have them installed. It only took 3 hours and I was off and running. The Toyota dealership quoted me $500 for the install. Be sure to have an ASE certified mechanic to do the work or you may void the warranty. -- Review submitted: 2013-02-11

This is the best suspension for the 2006 BMW 325i sedan. Totally aggressive and just looks awesome. Purchased the bremmer staggered wheels (19 X 9.5 and 19 X 8.5) with KUMHO tires (19 X 35 X 225 and 19 X 35 X 245). Can t get it any lower than this set up. -- Review submitted: 2011-04-12

This is the best, most affordable set-up possible for this 325i. Before I installed it, I visited a shop and they recommended a coil-over suspension costing 4X more. This HR cup kit is simply awesome! The ride is awesome and the look is awesome! -- Review submitted: 2011-03-06

So tight! my 99 bmw 328i never looked so good, and never handled so good until I slapped this suspension on her. The H&R sport cup kit makes me look at my rig sitting still in the garage! -- Review submitted: 2011-02-20

These are awesome! Replaced the HR springs + Koni shocks that was installed in the car when I bought it used. This HR cup kit is the ultimate in "slamming" a bimmer as low as you can get it. Works perfect with 19" VOLKS wheels (10.5" rear, 8.5" front). -- Review submitted: 2011-02-06

I bought this kit as a replacement for the original shocks and springs still on the car after 175,000 miles. The kit dramatically improved handling and performance with a much more aggressive (lowered) stance, especially on 18" wheels. The car brakes and launches phenominally due to virtually no squat or dive. On and offramps can be conquered at speeds in excess of 65mph depending. The kit has performed as advertised; however, it s been brutal to my other still original suspension components. It has undoubtedly been a factor in blowing out three of eight control arms since installing it. That s not the kit s fault, but beware if your suspension components are worn. This kit is so stiff and so low that driving on regular (crappy) roads punishes the rest of the car (and my back as ride quality is severly diminished). I plan on installing the H&R rollbar soon because my original rollbar is now having linkage problems. I enjoy the kit and wish I had had enough foresight to upgrade the rest of the suspension all at once. -- Review submitted: 2011-02-02

I would have to say I am disappointed with the Cup Kit in this application. I believe the problem lies in the soft shock damping H&R uses to retain a smoother ride on relatively good roads. On roads with larger undulations, the soft damping is overwhelmed, and the ride suffers. I am reverting to the stock sport package springs and Bilstein shocks. -- Review submitted: 2008-09-08

I love the Sport Cupkit on my car. The stock suspension on the MkV GTI is really high, yet it still rides pretty stiffly. The Cupkit rides stiffer, no doubt, but I can t believe it s not worse considering it s almost 2" lower. It takes corners better and launches with less wheelhop at the track. It is stiff in the winter just because the roads aren t the best, but overall, I m very happy with my decision. Perhaps the thing I dislike the most is I have a lot of forward rake. The drop claims 2.2" in the front and 1.6" in the rear. I wish it was less of a gap, like 2.2" F 1.8" or 1.9" rear.

I ve ordered the H&R 24mm rear swaybar, so we ll see how that adds up with the cupkit. -- Review submitted: 2007-12-29

I bought this kit looking to lower my car as much as possible after going through stages of different springs. They gave me the look I desired and handled great but the only downside is the ride. On long trips it can become tiring. You learn to avoid potholes and road imperfections as much as possible to avoid the jolt you feel when hitting them. After a while you grow accustomed to it and it s not too bad. I absolutly love the look of the car being so low and really want to keep it there no matter how harsh the ride is. The car handles great now the only thing limiting me is my tires and the driver skill. -- Review submitted: 2007-10-03

Ride is a tad harsh,so if you can t deal with a race car type ride on a daily basis these springs are not for you.I grew up with hot rod TR-6 Triumphs and Austin Healys so I love the H&R springs. -- Review submitted: 2007-07-20

Great set of dampers, ride quality is firm and comfortable. I had previously for the last 40k miles tein springs and KYB-GR 2 gas shocks and the ride was mushy and at minor bumps would bottom out, jarring and noisy. The set of adjustable Koni dampers coupled up with H&R springs is a huge upgrade both in comfort and cornering ability. No bottoming out, jarring over small bumps, its quiet now, controlled a lot better and way more comfortable. Highly recommend the upgrade. Ordered on Sunday evening, arrived at my door Tuesday afternoon. -- Review submitted: 2007-05-10

Loved this cup-kit, The overall appearance got me what i wanted without sacrificing ride quality too much. Its still pretty stiff from 5k miles of wear. The only thing that it could do better is that i have a little bit of a reverse rake (front wheels are farther from the fender lip than the rear wheels) but i can handle that, its not too noticeable.

Some of the roads here in Hawaii, while they are paved, are not in the best shape, and if you hit a pot hole, YOU ARE GONNA FEEL IT. Its literally a big bang. So just being more careful than normal when driving and you ll be fine.

For pictures of my car with kit installed goto VwVortex.com forums. of here is the link- http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3129319&page=1 as you can see the front is still a little bit high, but not too bad. -- Review submitted: 2007-03-19
