The Blizzak LM-25 RFT (Run-Flat) is Bridgestone's Performance Winter / Snow tire designed to provide temporary self-supporting run-flat continuing mobility in the case of complete air loss due to a puncture during winter driving exclusively for the drivers of BMW Z4 roadsters, 1-, 3-. 5-, 6-, 7-Series sedans and Nissan GT-R supercars. Blizzak LM-25 RFT Performance Winter tires allow drivers to maintain their vehicle's sporty appearance and mobility while providing winter driving traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads.

Blizzak LM-25 RFT winter tires feature a directional tread design to enhance hydroplaning resistance on wet and slush-covered roads with rounded tread shoulders to enhance dry and wet road handling. Their tread compound has a high silica content instead of the Multicell tread compounds used on other Blizzak winter tires. This allows Blizzak LM-25 RFT tires to combine winter traction with H-and V-speed rated durability (current Multicell compounds can support 99 mph Q-speed ratings). The Blizzak LM-25 RFT tires feature an independent block tread design which employs the Lamellen "edge effect" (multiple biting edges in the tread blocks to help grip snow and ice) to enhance winter traction without resorting to traditional metal studs.
The Blizzak LM-25 RFT winter tire's overall combination of capabilities is made possible by Bridgestone's UNI-T technology that brings advanced tire technologies together, taking performance to a new level. Innovative tire design, construction and tread compound help maximize the tire's performance, ride quality and wear while providing traction in winter.
Blizzak LM-25 RFT winter tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol.
NOTE: Snow platform indicators (the equivalent of snow wear bars) are molded into the Blizzak LM-25 RFT's tread grooves to inform the driver when ice and snow traction will be reduced as the tire's tread wear reaches the point where the remaining tread depth becomes less effective in deep snow.
Install Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 RFT tires in sets of four only.
Due to the traction capabilities of the Blizzak LM-25 RFT, Bridgestone recommends using Blizzak LM-25 RFT tires only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.

El Blizzak™ LM-25 RFT posee una banda de rodadura con diseño direccional que aumenta la resistencia al deslizamiento en agua (hydroplaning) y aguanieve. Hombros redondeados aumentan la maniobrabilidad sobre carreteras secas o mojadas. La mezcla de caucho tiene un alto contenido de sílice, a diferencia del Multicell® utilizado en otros neumáticos Blizzak™, esto permite combinar tracción durante el invierno con capacidad de velocidad elevada (código de velocidad H y V). El Blizzak LM-25 RFT posee, además, bloques independientes con Lamellen (los bloques tienen mayor cantidad de bordes adherentes, especialmente útiles en hielo y nieve) que aumenta la tracción durante el invierno, sin la necesidad de utilizar los pernos tradicionales.
El conjunto de características y la capacidad ofrecida por este neumático, se debe al uso de la tecnología UNI-T® de Bridgestone, la cual, combina tecnologías avanzadas para llevar el rendimiento del neumático a un nivel superior. Diseño innovador, construcción, materiales y compuestos del caucho ayudan a maximizar el rendimiento del neumático, y así ofrecer, un andar suave y silencioso, y excelente características de desgaste, a la vez de mejorar la tracción durante el invierno.
