The Turanza ER300 is Bridgestone's ecologically oriented Grand Touring Summer tire developed for Original Equipment use on Mercedes-Benz sedans, as well as can be used as replacements on other coupes and sedans. The Turanza ER300 is designed to combine traction, handling and comfort in dry and wet conditions, but like all summer tires is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
The Turanza ER300 molds a summer tread compound into an asymmetric tread design. Large tread blocks and continuous circumferential ribs provide responsive handling and traction on dry roads, while lateral and circumferential tread grooves help evacuate water from under the tire's footprint to enhance wet traction and reduce hydroplaning. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spiral wrapped aramid and nylon to stabilize the tread area to enhance handling and high-speed capability.
Turanza ER300 tires are also branded with Bridgestone's Ecopia symbol to signify they offer reduced tire rolling resistance to enhance vehicle fuel economy while they lessen the vehicle's environmental impact by helping reduce its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

El Turanza ER300 de Bridgestone pertenece a la categoría: Gran Turismo Para Verano y es un neumático orientado ecológicamente desarrollado originalmente (O.E., por sus siglas en inglés) para uso en sedánes Mercedes-Benz o como neumático de reemplazo de otros vehículos sedán o cupé. El Turanza ER300 ha sido diseñado para combinar tracción, maniobrabilidad y confort en condiciones mojadas o secas. Como todo neumático de verano, el Turanza ER300, no fue diseñado para ser utilizado en temperaturas cercanas al nivel de congelación o superficies con hielo o nieve.
El Turanza ER300 moldea un compuesto de caucho para verano en una banda de rodamiento con diseño asimétrico. Bloques o tacos grandes y un segmento central circunferencial continuo, proporciona maniobrabilidad responsiva y tracción sobre superficies secas, mientras que ranuras circunferenciales y laterales se encargan de evacuar el agua, manteniendo tracción sobre superficies mojadas y reduciendo el deslizamiento sobre agua (hydroplaning).
La estructura interna incluye correas gemelas de acero reforzadas con aramid y nailón envuelto en espiral, para estabilizar el área de la huella y mejorar así la maniobrabilidad y la capacidad de rodar a velocidades elevadas.
