ContiWinterContact TS810 S (Sport) Performance Winter / Snow tires were developed for the drivers of high performance sport cars, sport coupes and sporty sedans looking for good snow traction, responsive handling and European high-speed capability. The ContiWinterContact TS810 S is designed to combine precise handling with traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions.
The ContiWinterContact TS810 S Performance Winter / Snow tires mold Continental Tire's innovative silica-enhanced component compound into an asymmetric tread design with broad, rounded shoulder blocks to enhance dry road handling performance. These are combined with a continuous contact, notched rib design to provide more precise handling and sportier performance compared to the ContiWinterContact TS810. To reduce the risk of hydroplaning, the number of circumferential grooves that channel water through the footprint corresponds with the tire width (four grooves in 255 mm and smaller-sized tires with five grooves in 265 mm and larger sizes). The tread design features 20% wider sipes on the inner shoulder and sipe spacers that prevent the sipes from closing during contact to provide the multiple biting edges necessary to help grip snow and ice and enhance winter traction without resorting to traditional metal studs.
ContiWinterContact TS810 S Performance Winter / Snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol.
ContiWinterContact TS810 S tires feature several winter tread wear indicators to identify when the remaining tread depth has worn down to 5/32" (4 mm) indicating it has reached the limit of beneficial winter service.
Install Continental ContiWinterContact TS810 S tires in sets of four only.
Due to the traction capabilities of the ContiWinterContact TS810 S, Continental recommends using ContiWinterContact TS810 S tires only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.
