TouringContact AS radials are Continental's Standard Touring All-Season tires used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on several imported and domestic coupes, sedans and sport utility vehicles, as well as are available in other replacement tire sizes. TouringContact AS radials are designed to combine low rolling resistance with a smooth, quiet ride and year-round traction on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.
The Continental TouringContact AS radial's tread pattern features independent tread blocks to enhance year round traction that uses computer-optimized pitch sequencing for added ride comfort and reduced noise. The tire's wide circumferential grooves are combined with lateral grooves and sipes to enhance traction on wet roads and in light snow. Internally, the TouringContact AS features twin steel belts for strength and durability, and a sidewall construction (harmonized bead area and polyester cord casing) for a smooth ride.

El neumático radial TouringContact AS de Continental del grupo Turismo Estándar Para Toda Estación es utilizado como “Equipo Original” (O.E. por sus siglas en inglés) en vehículos cupé, sedán y utilitarios deportivos importados o nacionales. También pueden ser obtenidos para remplazar diferentes tamaños. El TouringContact AS ha sido diseñado para combinar baja resistencia al rodamiento con un andar tranquilo y parejo durante todo el año en suelo seco, mojado y con poca nieve.
La banda de rodadura posee bloques independientes que mejoran la tracción durante todo el año. La misma fue optimizada por computadora para obtener un neumático silencioso que ofreciera un andar confortable. La tracción sobre suelo mojado y nieve se alcanza gracias a canales circunferenciales anchos, ranuras laterales y pequeñas ranuras sobre los bloques.
Internamente, el TouringContact AS posee correas gemelas de acero para mayor durabilidad y fortaleza. La construcción de los flancos armoniza el área del talón con un cordón de poliéster en el armazón, para obtener un manejo más tranquilo.
