The Rover H/T is Dunlop's Highway All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of pickups, crossover and sport utility vehicles looking for contemporary styling, long tread wear and year-round, all-season traction. The Rover H/T is designed to deliver a smooth ride, low noise and traction on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.
The Rover H/T molds an all-season tread compound into a symmetric tread design featuring an interlocking block center rib flanked by independent intermediate and shoulder blocks designed to blend straight-line tracking, wet traction and all-season capability. The intermediate tread blocks feature notches and sipes to promote wet and wintry traction while high-density, V-Lock, zigzag sipes in the shoulder blocks blend steering response with snow traction.
The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts on top of a dimensionally stable polyester casing to promote consistent handling, ride comfort and tread wear. The tire's internal structure was developed using Dunlop's VersaLoad Technology to provide consistent handling, ride comfort and tread wear by maintaining the shape of the contact patch under a wide range of load conditions. H-speed rated and LT-metric sizes feature Dunlop's JointLess Band (JLB) technology to help maintain the tire's shape and facilitate smooth operation at highway speeds.
