The Rover M/T Maxx Traction is Dunlop's On-/Off-Road Commercial Traction light truck tire developed for the drivers of multipurpose full-sized pickups, vans, sport utility and commercial vehicles who want heavy-duty tires that combine on-road capabilities with off-road competence at work jobsites and recreation areas. The Rover M/T Maxx Traction was designed to deliver traction on pavement in dry, wet and wintry conditions, as well as off-road in dirt, sand and mud.

The Rover M/T Maxx Traction features an asymmetric integrated tread pattern combining design elements to help it operate on multiple surfaces. Wide, square-edged independent outboard shoulder lugs wrap onto the sidewall to generate steering response and off-road cornering traction. Outboard center traction lugs increase off-road start up and stopping traction while inboard center lugs promote ride and handling on pavement. And finally, notched and siped inboard shoulder blocks enhance foul weather traction.

The tire's internal structure includes two high-density steel belts reinforced with nylon for strength combined with a polyester cord carcass that reinforces the sidewalls. Rim flange protectors help shield wheels from off-road debris and accidental curb damage.

Rover M/T Maxx Traction On-/Off-Road Commercial Traction tires are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol to identify they meet industry severe snow service standards.
