The SP Sport 5000M is Dunlop's Ultra High Performance All-Season radial developed for Original Equipment use on coupes, performance sedans and sporty crossover vehicles. The SP Sport 5000M is designed to provide ultra high performance and all-season versatility by blending traction on dry, wet and wintry roads, including in occasional light snow.
The SP Sport 5000M molds a high performance all-season tread compound into a symmetric tread design consisting of a continuous center rib flanked by independent intermediate and shoulder blocks that blend traction, treadwear and rolling resistance to meet a wide range of driving conditions. Full-face, engineered crosscut sipes provide more biting edges for slush and snow traction. The tires' internal structures include twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop's Jointless Band (JLB) technology that uses spirally wound nylon to provide high-speed durability while it reduces weight and helps provide more uniform ride quality.

El neumático SP Sport 5000M posee un compuesto de caucho de ultra alto rendimiento para toda estación moldeado en una banda de rodamiento con diseño simétrico. Este diseño, posee un segmento central continuo con segmentos intermediarios independientes a ambos lados y bloques o tacos en los hombros, que combinan tracción, desgaste y baja resistencia a rodar, permitiendo su uso en un amplio rango de condiciones de manejo. Pequeñas ranuras cortadas en ángulos ubicadas en el área de contacto, proporcionan mayor cantidad de bordes adherentes que mejoran la tracción sobre aguanieve y nieve.
La construcción interna del SP Sport 5000M posee correas gemelas de acero reforzadas con la tecnología “JointLess Band” (JLB, por sus siglas en inglés) de Dunlop. Esta tecnología utiliza nailon envuelto en espiral, con la idea de brindar integridad al neumático al utilizarlo a velocidades elevadas, además de reducir el peso y ofrecer una conducción más uniforme.
