The SP Sport 7000 A/S is one of Dunlop's High Performance All-Season radials developed for Original Equipment use on sporty sedans. The SP Sport 7000 A/S is designed to combine low noise, good ride comfort and dependable handling while blending traction on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.
The SP Sport 7000 A/S molds an all-season tread compound into an asymmetric design that features independent tread blocks on the outboard shoulder, nearly continuous intermediate and center ribs, and siped independent tread blocks in the inboard shoulder to combine dry road responsiveness with highway stability and low noise. Circumferential grooves and lateral notches help water flow through the tread design to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop's Jointless Band (JLB) technology that uses spirally wound polyester or nylon cord (depending on tire size and application) on top of a polyester cord casing to combine high-speed durability with a comfortable ride.
El neumático SP Sport 7000 A/S, fabricado por Dunlop, es uno de sus neumáticos radiales perteneciente a la categoría: Alto Rendimiento Para Toda Estación, desarrollado como Equipo Original (OE, por sus siglas en inglés) para sedanes deportivos. El SP Sport 7000 A/S, combina niveles bajos de ruido, confort y una maniobrabilidad confiable, a la vez, proporciona tracción sobre superficies secas, mojadas y con poca nieve.
El SP Sport 7000 A/S posee un compuesto de caucho para toda estación moldeado en una banda de rodamiento asimétrica, la cual, posee bloques independientes en el hombro exterior, un segmento central y otro intermedio casi continuo. El hombro interno posee bloques independientes con pequeñas ranuras, para combinar una mejor respuesta sobre carreteras secas, con, niveles bajo de ruido y mayor estabilidad en el autopista. Ranuras circunferenciales y muescas laterales ayudan a evacuar el agua y proporcionar mayor resistencia al deslizamiento en agua (hydroplaning), al igual que mayor tracción.
La estructura interna del SP Sport 7000 A/S, posee correas gemelas de acero reforzadas con la tecnología Jointless Band (JLB, por sus siglas en inglés) de Dunlop. Esta tecnología utiliza cordones de poliéster o nailon envueltos en espiral (dependiendo del tamaño del neumático y el vehículo a utilizar), sobre el armazón de cordón de poliéster, para así combinar, durabilidad (por su uso a velocidades elevadas) y un andar confortable.
