The Fuzion ZRi is the Fuzion brand's Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed to meet the needs of sport compact and sports car driving enthusiasts and tuners. The Z-speed rated Fuzion ZRi is designed to provide crisp and responsive handling and traction in both wet and dry conditions. Like all summer tires, the ZRi is not intended to be driven in near freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Fuzion's Ultimate Network of Intelligent Tire Technology (UNI-T) features three core elements: CO•CS, a Computer Optimized Component System which allows design and manufacturing processes to work more cooperatively, leading to a more efficient tire that doesn't significantly sacrifice one area of performance for improvements in another; O-Bead, a more round structure that minimizes overlapped joints in the bead area for improved ride; and L.L. Carbon (Long Link Carbon) which helps the rubber compound resist microscopic tread tearing related to wear.
The Fuzion ZRi molds a Long Link Carbon (an advanced form of carbon black) and silica-reinforced tread compound into an aggressive directional tread design to enhance dry traction that also evacuates water from between the tire’s contact patch and the road to improve wet grip and reduce the possibility of hydroplaning. On the inside, the Fuzion ZRi’s casing and twin steel belts deliver responsive handling and cornering stability. The steel belts are reinforced with spirally wound nylon to provide high-speed durability while minimizing weight and maximizing ride qualities. The Fuzion ZRi features Rim Guard rubber ridges on its lower sidewalls to function as bumpers to help protect wheels from curb damage.
El neumático ZRI representa la marca Fuzion en la categoría de neumáticos de Ultra Alto Rendimiento Para Verano y ha sido introducido para satisfacer las necesidades de los conductores entusiastas y modificadores (tuners) de autos deportivos compactos y autos deportivos. Cuenta con un código de velocidad Z y ha sido diseñado para ofrecer un comportamiento preciso y responsivo sobre superficies secas o mojadas. Como todo neumático de verano no fue diseñado para ser utilizado en temperaturas cercas al nivel de congelación, o superficies con hielo o nieve.
La tecnología UNI-T® (acrónimo de Ultimate Network of Intelligent Tire Technologies –Tecnología Inteligente del Neumático) esta compuesta por tres elementos básicos: CO•CS (Computer Optimized Component System - Sistema para Optimizar los Componentes por Computadora), este sistema permite que el proceso de diseño y fabricación trabajen en armonía, dando como resultado un neumático más balanceado (no sacrifica significativamente un área de desempeño por otra); O-Bead, una estructura más redonda, que disminuye la sobre posición de juntas en el talón o alambre de aro, permite que la conducción sea más placentera; finalmente, L.L. Carbon (Long Link Carbon, Carbón de Cadena Largo) es una característica que ayuda, a que el compuesto de caucho resista roturas causadas por el desgaste.
El neumático Fuzion ZRi moldea dos elementos en su banda de rodamiento de diseño agresivo y direccional, el Long Link Carbon (una forma avanzada de carbón negro) y un compuesto de caucho reforzado con silicona. Este diseño realza la tracción en suelo seco, a la vez de, expeler el agua entre el área de contacto del neumático y la carretera, aumentando el agarre en pavimento mojado y reduciendo el riesgo del deslizamiento en agua (hydroplaning).
Internamente, la carcasa del neumático Fuzion ZRi y las bandas gemelas de acero brindan una respuesta más precisa y estabilidad al tomar curvas. Las capas de acero se refuerzan con nylon enrollado en espiral para proporcionar durabilidad al manejar a velocidades elevadas, mientras que reduce el peso y maximiza la calidad del viaje. El neumático Fusión ZRi tiene bordes de goma Rim Guard en la zona baja, que sirven como amortiguadores para proteger a las ruedas del posible daño causado por aceras.
