The Radial LS is Goodyear's Standard Touring All-Season tire developed for Original Equipment use on limousines and funeral coaches based on the Cadillac DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan). The Radial LS is designed to combine heavy-duty load capacity with all-season traction, even in light snow.
Radial LS tires feature a symmetric, independent tread block design featuring computer-optimized block sizes to minimize tread noise for a quiet ride. Wide circumferential channels help evacuate water from beneath the contact patch to reduce the possibility of hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while sipes provide hundreds of biting edges for light snow traction. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced by nylon for strength and high-speed durability.
The Radial LS is only available in a LT235/60R16 112/109S Load Range E size to support the extra weight of a professional vehicle's additional body reinforcements, special features and occupant capacity. They are not intended for use on standard Cadillac DTS vehicles.
El neumático Radial LS de Goodyear pertenece a la categoría Turismo Estándar Para Toda Estación y fur desarrollado para uso original (O.E., por sus siglas en inglés) en limosinas o carrozas fúnebres basada en el Cadillac DTS (Neville Touring Sedan). El diseño del Radial LS combina el poder soportar cargas pesadas con tracción durante todo el año, incluyendo superficies con poca nieve.
El Radial LS posee una banda de rodamiento con diseño simétrico, que cuenta con bloques independientes con tamaños optimizados por computadora, para disminuir el ruido y ofrecer una andar más tranquilo. Canales circunferenciales anchos ayudan a evacuar el agua del área de contacto con la carretera, reduciendo la posibilidad del deslizamiento sobre agua (hydroplaning) y aumentando la tracción sobre mojado; pequeñas ranuras en los bloques proporcionan cientos de bordes adherentes para mejorar la tracción sobre superficies con poca nieve.
La estructura interna del Radial LS, cuenta con correas gemelas de acero reforzadas con nailon, para obtener mayor fortaleza y durabilidad al usarla a velocidades elevadas.
El Radial LS se encuentra disponible solamente en el tamaño LT235/60R16 112/109S y Rango de carga E, para soportar el peso extra de los vehículos mencionados anteriormente. Este neumático no ha sido fabricado con la intención de utilizarlos en los vehículos Cadillac DTS estándar.
