Goodyear's family of Ultra Grip Ice WRT tires featuring their Winter Reactive Technology includes Ultra Grip Ice WRT SUV Studdable Winter / Snow tires developed for the drivers of light-duty pickup trucks, full-size vans and sport utility vehicles looking for enhanced wintertime traction. Goodyear's Winter Reactive Technology combines innovative features working together to help drivers react to changing winter driving conditions when starting, stopping and turning in snow and on ice.
Ultra Grip Ice WRT SUV tires use Goodyear's Winter Grip compound molded into a directional tread design with sweeping grooves that help channel water and slush away from under the tire's footprint to enhance traction and handling in cold, wet and wintry conditions. Two types of sipes are used to provide the biting edges needed to generate additional wintertime traction. Angled three-dimensional TredLock Technology sipes in the shoulder zones lock together to enhance cornering grip while 2D sipes running laterally across the center zone enhance starting and stopping power on snow and ice.
Ultra Grip Ice WRT SUV winter / snow radials meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol.
Install Ultra Grip Ice WRT SUV tires in sets of four only.
Vehicles should always be equipped with equivalent tires at all wheel positions. Ultra Grip Ice WRT SUV radials, due to their snow and ice traction must be used in sets of four to help ensure proper vehicle control.
Molded to accept optional TSMI #12 silver-colored metallic winter studs.
NOTE: These tires are only identified "Ultra Grip Ice WRT" on their sidewalls and are NOT actually branded with the letters "SUV."

Estos son desarrollados para conductores de picops de trabajo liviano, furgonetas y deportivos utilitarios, que buscan mejorar la tracción en el invierno.
