The Michelin HydroEdge with Green X radial is a premium Passenger All-Season energy-efficient tire developed to meet the needs of the drivers of family coupes, sedans and minivans looking for great tread life, fuel efficiency and all-weather traction. The HydroEdge with Green X was designed to combine long tread wear and low rolling resistance with superb hydroplaning resistance and year-round traction, even in light snow.
Featuring Michelin’s Energysaver Construction technology, the HydroEdge with Green X radial features a low-rolling resistance silica-based tread compound molded into a directional tread design to blend dry and wet road traction with long wear. Dual circumferential center grooves and high-angle HydroChutes combine to pump water from under the tire's footprint to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. The tire’s internal structure includes a polyester cord body and twin steel belts to deliver strength and durability along with a smooth ride.

El neumático radial HydroEdge con tecnología "Green X" de Michelin, es un neumático superior de la categoría: Pasajero Toda Estación, es de energía eficiente y ha sido diseñado para satisfacer las necesidades de conductores de cupé familiares, sedán y minivan; en cuanto a longevidad, buen millaje por galón y tracción en todo tipo de clima. El HydroEdge con Green X combina longevidad y baja resistencia a rodar con una excelente resistencia al deslizamiento sobre agua (hydroplaning) y tracción durante todo el año, inclusive sobre superficies con poca nieve.
El HydroEdge con Green X utiliza la tecnología Energysaver Construction de Michelin y posee una mezcla de caucho basada en sílice, que ofrece baja resistencia a rodar. Esta mezcla es moldeada en una banda de rodamiento con diseño direccional que combina tracción sobre superficies secas y mojadas, con un desgaste lento. Los surcos centrales circunferenciales dobles y los “HydroChutes” en ángulo se combinan para bombear el agua hacia fuera por debajo de la huella del neumático, aumentando así, la resistencia al deslizamiento en agua (hydroplaning).
