The Latitude Tour HP is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of premium crossover and sport utility vehicles. Used as Original Equipment by Acura, BMW, Lexus, Porsche and others, Latitude Tour HP tires are designed to combine comfort, handling and all-season traction, even in light snow.
The Latitude Tour HP features an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric pattern that helps balance dry, wet and wintertime traction. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib boost responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and 2-D Active Sipes improve handling in rain and snow.
The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with Michelin FAZ Technology (Filament At Zero degrees) that winds polyester and aramid/nylon cords spirally under the tread area to provide a stable feel and crisp steering, while polyester cord reinforced sidewalls enhance ride quality.
NOTE: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.

El neumático Latitude Tour HP de Michelin pertenece a la categoría: Turismo Para Toda Estación (Crossover/SUV) y es un neumático desarrollado para conductores de los mejores crossover (utiliautos) y utilitarios deportivos. Es un neumático original (O.E., por sus siglas en inglés) utilizado en los vehículos BMW, Acura, Lexus Porsche y otros, su diseño combina confort , maniobrabilidad y tracción durante todas las estaciones del año inclusive sobre superficies con poca nieve.
El Latitude Tour HP posee un compuesto de caucho para toda estación moldeado en una banda de rodamiento con patrón simétrico que permite balancear la tracción sobre superficies secas, mojadas y las encontradas durante el invierno. Bloques o tacos estables en los hombros y un segmento central continuo, aumenta la respuesta al girar el volante y la estabilidad en las autopistas. Canales circunferenciales anchos ayudan a resistir el deslizamiento sobre agua (hydroplaning) y pequeñas ranuras ( 2-D Active Sipes) sobre los tacos o bloques mejoran la maniobrabilidad sobre lluvia y nieve.
La estructura interna posee correas gemelas de acero reforzadas con la tecnología FAZ (Filament At Zero) de Michelin que enrolla cordones de poliéster y aramida/nailon en espiral debajo de la banda de rodamiento para que el neumáticos se sienta más estable y de una respuesta más rápida al girar el volante.
