The Symmetry radial is Michelin's All-Season tire comfort-tuned for full-sized luxury cars and minivans. Symmetry tires meet Michelin's Green X standard* for low rolling resistance that confirms the tire's contribution to reducing vehicle fuel consumption and emissions of CO2 gases. Symmetry radials were developed to provide balanced proportions of ride quality, noise comfort and overall performance, as well as year-round traction, even in occasional light snow.
Symmetry radials use a weather-tuned tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design featuring wide, serrated circumferential tread grooves that evacuate water from under the tire's footprint to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. The tread's interlocking "S"-shaped sipes provide biting edges to enhance traction in light snow. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts under the tread to provide strength on top of a polyester cord body that promotes a smooth ride.

El neumático radial Symmetry de Michelin pertenece al segmento: Pasajero Toda Estación y ofrece confort a los conductores de autos de lujo, familiares o minivans. El Symmetry cumple con los requisitos estándares Green X de Michelin*, para obtener una resistencia a rodar más baja, contribuyendo así a la reducción de consumo de gasolina y emisiones de gases CO2. El Symmetry, fue desarrollado para proporcionar un balance entre la calidad del andar, niveles de ruido y rendimiento total; a la vez que, tracción durante todo el año, incluyendo superficies cubiertas con poca nieve.
Los radiales Symmetry poseen una banda de rodamiento con un compuesto de caucho “sintonizado a las estaciones del año” y diseño simétrico, con canales circunferenciales anchos y bordes en forma serrada que evacuan el agua, debajo del área de contacto y así resistir el deslizamiento en agua (hydroplaning) y aumentar la tracción sobre superficies mojadas. Pequeñas ranuras enclavijadas tipo “S”, proveen mayor cantidad de bordes adherentes, para mejorar la tracción sobre carreteras cubiertas con poca nieve.
La estructura interna del Symmetry, cuenta con correas gemelas de acero, que estabilizan la banda de rodamiento, proveen fortaleza sobre una capa de cordón de poliéster que proporciona un andar tranquilo.
