The Scorpion Verde (Italian for green) All Season is Pirelli's eco-friendly Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and prestigious pickups. The Ecoimpact* icons on the sidewall of the Scorpion Verde All Season highlight its environmental compatibility where it reduces rolling resistance and tire weight, compared to Pirelli's previous CUV/SUV tire lines, to increase fuel economy and lower the vehicle's CO2 emissions. The Scorpion Verde All Season is designed to combine dry and wet road handling, comfort and year-round capabilities, including all-season traction in light snow.
The Scorpion Verde All Season molds a silica tread compound into an asymmetric tread design that features an optimized rubber-to-void ratio and uniform contact patch to blend dry road traction and performance with uniform wear. Four wide circumferential grooves displace water to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while longitudinal siping for lateral stability on loose surfaces and high-density lateral siping enhance wet and wintertime traction.

El Scorpion Verde All Season es uno de los neumáticos amigables al medioambiente fabricado por Pirelli y pertenece a la categoría: Turismo Para Toda Estación (Crossover/SUV) y fue desarrollado para conductores de utiliautos (Crossovers), utilitarios deportivos y picops de prestigio. El símbolo Ecoimpact* en el flanco o pared denota su compatibilidad con el medioambiente, ya que, reduce la resistencia al rodar y el peso del neumático, (al compararlo con la línea CUV/SUV que le antecede), para disminuir el consumo de gasolina y las emisiones de CO2 del vehículo. El Scorpion Verde All Season esta diseñado para combinar maniobrabilidad sobre superficies secas y mojadas, confort y capacidad de andar durante todas las estaciones del año, incluyendo superficies con poca nieve durante el invierno.
El Scorpion Verde All-Season posee un compuesto de caucho de sílice, moldeado en una banda de rodamiento con diseño asimétrico, que cuenta con una razón óptima espacio/caucho, y una huella de contacto con la carretera uniforme, para combinar tracción sobre carreteras secas y rendimiento, con un desgaste parejo. Cuatro canales anchos circunferenciales evacuan agua cuando el neumático tiene contacto con la carretera, brindando así, mayor resistencia al deslizamiento en agua (hydroplaning) y aumentando la tracción sobre mojado. Además, ranuras longitudinales proporcionan estabilidad lateral sobre superficies flojas y gran cantidad de pequeñas ranuras laterales aumentan la tracción sobre superficies mojadas y durante el inverno.
* La aplicación del símbolo Ecoimpact (designa baja resistencia al rodar, reducido uso de aceite aromático, bajo ruido y longevidad) de Pirelli es determinada por pruebas de laboratorio en base al modelo y tamaño del neumático.
