The Proxes T1R is Toyo’s Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed
for sports car, sporty coupe and high performance sedan drivers looking
for comfort, performance and value. Designed to deliver in dry, wet and
warm weather conditions, the Proxes T1R features an aggressive tread
design that contributes to its competence. Like all Ultra High
Performance Summer tires, Proxes T1R tires are not intended to be driven
in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Proxes T1R tires mold Toyo’s Generation S silica-reinforced high-grip
compound into a directional tread design that blends wet weather
traction and dry road handling with noise comfort and ride quality.
Shoulder blocks backed by circumferential ribs resist irregular wear
while promoting dry road stability. Central v-shaped water evacuation
grooves help pump water from under the footprint towards the shoulders
to resist hydroplaning and increase wet traction.
The tire’s internal structure features twin high-tensile steel belts
reinforced with spirally wrapped jointless cap and edge plies that
control the footprint shape to promote high-speed durability and even
wear.

deportivos y conductores de sedán de gran desempeño, que buscan confort,
rendimiento y valor. Su diseño cuenta con una banda de rodamiento
agresiva, que se desempeña sobre condiciones secas, mojadas y en climas
calientes. Como todo neumático de Ultra Alto Rendimiento Para Verano, el
Proxes T1R, no fue diseñado para ser utilizado en temperaturas cercanas
al nivel de congelación o superficies con hielo o nieve.
El
compuesto de caucho de Toyo, Generation S, utilizado en el Proxes T1R,
es reforzado con sílice, y moldeado en una banda de rodamiento con
diseño direccional y de gran agarre. El diseño direccional combina
tracción en climas mojados y maniobrabilidad sobre superficies secas,
con niveles bajos de ruido y una mejor calidad del andar. Bloques o
tacos en los hombros soportados por segmentos circunferenciales,
resisten el desgaste irregular, a la vez de, proporcionar estabilidad
sobre superficies secas. Ranuras centrales tipo V ayudan a sacar el
agua, al momento de hacer contacto con la carretera a través de los
hombros; esto ayuda a evitar el deslizamiento sobre agua
(hydroplaning) y aumentar la tracción sobre superficies
mojadas.
La estructura interna del Proxes T1R, posee correas
gemelas resistentes a tensiones fuertes reforzadas por capas envueltas
en espiral y sin uniones. Capas en los bordes ayudan a controlar la
forma de la huella y proporcionar un desgaste parejo, al igual que,
durabilidad, debido al uso a velocidades elevadas.
