The Geolandar M/T+ is Yokohama's enhanced Off-Road Maximum Traction light truck tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles that require extreme off-road appearance and traction. The Geolandar M/T+ was designed to conquer any surface from muddy trails and rocky terrain to the highways and byways of the asphalt jungle.
On the outside, the Geolandar M/T+ molds a longer lasting, specifically formulated cut-and-chip resistant tread compound into a beefy, deep-lug directional tread design featuring a step block circumferential center groove, twin-cut lug grooves and progressive power shoulders that increase the number of biting edges to enhance the tire's traction and self-cleaning capabilities while providing longer life off-road and broader capabilities on-road. On the inside, twin steel belts reinforced by nylon belt edge strips and polyester body plies provide the strength needed for off-road driving.

El neumático Geolandar M/T + de Yokohama, pertenece al segmento de Tracción Máxima Fuera De Carretera, y fue diseñado, para conductores de picops, camionetas y utilitarios deportivos, que requieran, apariencia y tracción Fuera De Carretera. Su construcción, permite conquistar todo tipo de superficie, desde caminos lodosos y con rocas, hasta, carreteras pavimentadas y autopistas.
La construcción externa, del Geolandar M/T +, posee una mezcla de caucho resistente a cortes, moldeada en un diseño direccional con grandes bloques independientes, un centro circunferencial y una secuencia de bloques alternados en los hombros (uno con hendidura, el otro completo) que aumentan los bordes adherentes y, por lo tanto, la tracción. Este diseño facilita la limpieza por si solo y alarga la vida útil fuera de la carretera, a la vez, aumenta la capacidad del neumático dentro de ella.
Internamente, el Geolandar M/T +, posee correas gemelas de acero, reforzadas con correas de nailon en los hombros. Capas de poliéster en la carcasa, proveen la fortaleza necesaria para el trabajo fuera de carretera.
