Vehicle won't automatically learn sensors, but can be registered following directions in owners manual. No dealership visit required. If TPMS sensors are not installed in the wheels, the TPMS warning lights will stay permanently illuminated. An audible chime may also be heard at start-up.

June 20, 2012 Great AMG replica. Got many compliments from members of Mercedes community right off the bat. There seemed to have been a lot of balancing weights placed on the wheels. Ride feels stiffer compared to stock because of the bigger size but that's to be expected. Did notice that they feel quite heavy, slowing down acceleration by a tad.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: December 15, 2011 2 of the 4 wheels that I ordered have very bad paint job on it. The holes where the lugs are were not painted entirely and you can see the primer from the outside even after installing the hardwares. My friends did noticed that defect as well without me saying anything....so very bad in finishing but great looking wheels though. I do hope tirerack is more keen on their Quality Control checks before sending out the wheels to their customers as I do not know how to fix this without taking out the rims and have it refinished which is completely unacceptable for new rims.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System
	Your vehicle is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that requires a sensor to be installed in the tire and wheel assembly for proper operation. NHTSA's interpretation of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act prohibits service providers from installing aftermarket tires and wheels on your vehicle without working TPMS sensors. In some states, vehicle inspection regulations require operating TPMS on every vehicle that came with TPMS as Original Equipment. Check with local law enforcement officials to confirm restrictions in your area or check our latest listing here. The Original Equipment sensors from your Original Equipment wheels may be compatible with the new wheels you selected. Please consult the "Important Notes" link found online for more information or call Tire Rack for assistance. An inexpensive TPMS repair/rebuild kit is required when sensors are reused. As an option you may purchase the sensors listed below. They are compatible with both your vehicle's TPMS and the wheel you have selected. Additional Information A trained technician should perform installation of your sensors after your new wheels are shipped to you. Tire Rack's Recommended Installers are available to help you with your installation needs and can be selected by ZIP Code in the shopping cart.
